I was at work this past Friday standing there looking at the EO board and I noticed two pages of “Men Can Stop Rape” s~~~ on the board. As I’m reading it, a woman I know comes by and asks me what I was reading and I told her what I was looking at. As we were talking, another lady in the facility stops and the three of us are having this conversation about rape culture and women being able to get up the next morning and deny consenting because they had been drinking the night before. Out of one’s mouth came “That’s bulls~~~” and the other agreed. One also said ” they’re ruining it for other women”. I saw one of the ladies this morning and she told me she had been thinking about it all weekend and how unfair she thinks it is.

It is never about the men, they are condemning it only because it affect them. That no one wants them anymore. If it did not affect her you may hear a different story.
