So obviously when you’re younger you get raging hard on’s all the time, but is there a certain age where you just don’t get them anymore?  I’ve noticed that I haven’t gotten random hard on’s in a while.  Even when I watch my fav style porn lately I just don’t get excited like I used to, I have to work my way up to it.  Dick works fine, however the URGE is not there like it used to be.  Basically, I won’t get hard by just watching a porn or seeing a hot girl anymore; I need more mental/physical stimulation to get rock hard.  Maybe it’s because I’ve been really busy/tired/stressed etc, but I do notice that libido goes in spurts.  Maybe if I wait a few more days or a week, I’ll get horny again.  Lately, my mind has been elsewhere.

I watched a Sandman video recently where he mentions that by age 40, your higher thinking brain starts doing more of the reasoning, and your reptilian brain that controls your dick gets less pronounced, so you’re not thinking with your dick anymore.  It’s worrying me a little bit since I used to always want to f~~~, and now it feels like even a hot girl in my bed right now wouldn’t even do it.  Maybe b/c there is no hot girl in my bed right now, but I probably would be ready to go if that was the case.

Please share your perceptions on this topic as I’m curious about what happens to a man as he ages in this department.  Some men say they don’t need any sexual enhancers in their 40’s/50’s, but I find that hard to believe.

I’m not in the 40’s/50’s bracket myself but I would go with a hot chick being enough of a sexual enhancer for many, after factoring in health and lifestyle remember older guys did still farther children back in the day.
