Quitting xbox

It only makes me angry and while I enjoy talking to some of my pals on there I can always use skype.

About to take my controller out back and go to work on it with a bat.

Im going to keep the xbox as a novelty because I saved my lunch money for a year to buy it.

Im going to pick up piano as my new hobby or if I really want games I could play some indie ones on my mac.

Ive hated the new games for the past 4 years anyway.

Any of you quit before? Its been on my to do list for a while

Go with the Casio, it doubles as both, but don’t play the loaded sample nut cracker music, you’ll want to put a screwdriver through it!

Go PC dude. They have everything, except consol exclusives which usually find their way there in a few years. “Consol exclusives” aren’t what they used to be. They used to be the deciding factor in which consol you bought, now they are vanilla games with pretty graphics and nothing to write home about. Meanwhile there are cool things going on in the indie scene.

For the most part, games lately have become derivative and s~~~ty. Every once in a while there’s a good one I like, but for the most part I like to create games more than play them anymore. I like to make games that I would like to play.

Im going to go with a Casio keyboard and Ill definitely stay away from their sample music.

Like you said there are very few good games just not worth spending the money to find the ones I like and Ive played enough games. Thats cool with the game design.

Something snapped. I realized I was boring myself silly. No computer games since then.

Good luck with learning the piano. It must challenge every part of the brain to get good at it from hand-eye coordination, through memory, on to artistic appreciation. It sounds like a recipe for a lifetime of pleasure.

I never quit video games but I did become a more critical consumer. I never pay full price and I don’t allow myself to be tempted by “pre order exclusives”.
