A woman who filmed herself performing a sex act on her son for $300 has dodged a jail term.

Krystal Harvey, 23, was sentenced to eight months home detention after admitting sexually violating the 1-year-old and producing the objectionable minute-long video at the request of a paedophile.

That should be a minimum of 30 years without parole with a release condition of sterilization and registration as a sex offender. If she where a man her sentence would a have been more like the one above. But really I think it has to be said women cannot be trusted if there are no substantive consequences for their actions. A sentence this small for a crime so vile is an injustice and it speaks volumes about women as a group.
