    Ok – so WHY ???

Really WHY play the anthem ??

In Australia – it is played before the NRL grand final ( i.e. sort of like our superbowl ) and before international matches ( i.e. two countries playing each other) both anthems are played.

BUT – it is not played before regular season matches. So when the Bris Broncos play the NQ Cowboys – there is no national anthem played.

Back to the NFL.. My guess is that it started to give an opportunity for the players and the teams to demonstrate that they love/respect their country (USA). But since playing the anthem has been hijacked by people wanting to protest. So *SURELY* the simple solution is to — STOP PLAYING THE ANTHEM at regular season matches ( make an exception for the superbowl ).

So if the NFL just stops playing the anthem at matches – how are these pampered millionaires going to protest ?? They could do so by donating their entire salary to a charity that works for “their cause”… Just wouldn’t happen, because these snowflakes would be denied their grandstanding moment in the sunshine – in which they never deny themselves anything.. never sacrifice for their cause… and they never really articulate WTF they are protesting about. I mean *precisely* what it is. “Yeah I’m against Trump”, “general state of the country” these really are not answers. Do they support the democratic process ?

Thoughts on – NFL CEASING TO PLAY ANTHEM BEFORE MATCHES….

The NFL get’s paid to play the National Anthem. The military pays the team a certain amount of money to have the flag on the field, military people on the field, and sing the song. It started out being a protest about black people being killed by cops, although if you read my last post, you will see i have debunked that lie. Now it has dissolved into a protest about Trump. Trump turned it into a protest about the military. He will win on this because anytime you turn something against the military, it always ends up bad for the opposing side.

Ratings and revenue is already down, and it will keep going down. So great news there. To your point about simply stopping the national anthem, i say no to that because it would be a win for liberals. Liberals in this country, hate this country. They want to change everything about it. From the Constitution to the way people identify themselves. From our founding fathers to how we elect Presidents.

They want to take away all that stuff, and this country cannot survive for long, if that were to happen. Stopping the national anthem in the NFL, then that means the NBA would do it, the MLB, and then NHL. Hell, liberals would boycott NASCAR until they finally stopped playing it. Stopping the play of the National Anthem would lead to a rather bad domino effect that would be rather bad for the country.

What’s next after the anthem. They are already trying to take down all the statues. These people are trying to rewrite history to better suit themselves. Let’s not let them do that.

The people behind these protests are not really thinking this through. They are getting rid of one of the major circuses in the term “bread and circus” which is the opiate of the masses of people to keep them complacent, instead of going out and protesting against those causing the protests.

    Valid points you make.

To me, as an outsider, it just seems like the most stupid, pointless, irrational protest ( by millionaires who are giving up nothing ) that I have ever seen.

Hypothetical : In other sports where two different countries play each other and both anthems are played at the beginning, the usual thing is that the athletes stand (for both)… Where will this american practice of not-standing lead ? When USA plays another country, the athlete will choose to not stand for BOTH ? only not stand for their own ? Olympic podium – USA gold – the US athlete sits but silver/bronze both stand ? OR when US wins silver/bronze ? they stand or sit based on what ?? the internal politics of a foriegn country ??? They really have not thought this through….. They are irrational snowflakes who deserve scorn.

The military PAYS the NFL ?? To be disrespected ? Ar you f~~~ing serious ?? Then the military ( or commander in chief ) shoud say – “f~~~ that. enough. We will save the money. Why the f~~~ should we pay someone to show us disrespect? If you ( NFL ) want our money , and the anthem to be played, then you got to meet some standards – like ‘the anthem will be respected’ ”

The NFL gets paid to promote the military. Not to play the national anthem. All sporting events, big and small. From the pop warner football, and little league baseball, to the majors play the national anthem. It’s done to pay tribute to our country. Not because of the military. I go to rodeos and wrestling shows too and it’s played/sung there as well.

I haven’t been standing for the Anthem for about a decade now, and usually I am the only one I can see who does so. I have done this to protest war, and since all these Leftist cucks were not doing this during Obama’s reign, I really have no idea why they are doing it now. Oh, wait, yea I do, because they all do as they are told by Leftist Media…If the guys in Hollywood wanted to make half the country walk around with dildos strapped to their faces I bet they could get it done.

Makes mores sense if you think of these millionaire players as actors and that sports is scripted…

First of all Go to Hell NFL! If all the “fans” cared more about politics and the economy than this stupid game America would be much greater. And what really p~~~es me off is that American taxpayers have funded over 7 BILLION dollars for building these god damned stadiums. And why would any self-respecting man EVER wear the name of another man on his back? How about stop being poser spectators watching other men playing games and sipping $10 beers and start LIVING? Buy a motorcycle, race cars, climb mountains, and start living! Screw these dumbf~~~ NFL players.

It depends on what is being discussed. These kneeling protests are driving people away.
