A Utah woman will be the plaintiff and the defendant in a wrongful death lawsuit that has legal experts scratching their heads. Barbara Bagley was driving her family’s Range Rover Dec. 27, 2011 on Interstate 80 near Battle Mountain, Nev., when it slid on sagebrush on Interstate 80, and flipped. Her husband, Bradley Vom Baur, was sent flying from the vehicle, suffered major injuries and died nearly two weeks later in a hospital, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. Bagley, 48, suffered a concussion, broken ribs, a shattered wrist and two punctured lungs. One of her dogs, a Shetland sheepdog named Dooley, ran from the scene and wandered the desert for 53 days before being found.

Now, a Utah court has ruled Bagley, the representative of her late husband’s estate, may sue Bagley the driver in the fatal accident for wrongful death. In her suit, Bagley accuses herself of being negligent for failing to maintain a proper lookout and to keep her vehicle under proper control. She seeks an unspecified amount of money for damages that include medical and funeral expenses; loss of past and future financial support; the physical pain her husband suffered before he died from his injuries; and the loss of his love and companionship.

“The jury would be asked to determine how much money will fairly compensate Barbara Bagley for the harm she caused herself. The jury will be highly confused—it cannot order a person to compensate herself,” defense attorneys stated in a motion to dismiss the suit, according to ABC4 News. It is unclear if the case will be appealed at the Utah Supreme Court.

“It was a horrible day for me,” Bagley recalled at the time. “But something inside me told me Dooley (one of her dogs) was still alive out there. I wasn’t 100 percent sure, but I didn’t grieve for Dooley like I did for my husband and our other dog.”

2. The completely callous disregard for others (insurance premiums rising) or any responsibility for their behavior.

I went to bed last night shaking my head at this story. When I got up just now it suddenly occurred to me three things:

(1) If she the driver were to be found guilty of negligence in the death of her husband then couldn’t the prosecutor bring an additional charge of vehicular manslaughter against her and send the bitch to jail? Lol – hey, if the legal system is this f~~~ed up to allow her case to proceed then anything’s possible! I got the following off a legal site:

“Drivers who unintentionally cause accidents that result in the deaths of passengers, occupants of other cars, or pedestrians may find themselves charged with the crime of vehicular manslaughter (also known as vehicular homicide). Vehicular manslaughter charges are appropriate when the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or driving recklessly (or merely carelessly), or otherwise driving in an illegal manner—each state specifies the circumstances that will support charging this crime.”

(2) Could she then sue herself again but this time for legal negligence in giving up her right not to incriminate herself in the first case??

(3) Her husband didn’t die on the day of the accident – he died nearly two weeks later. And the quote above is her moaning about how bad a day it was for her. I think it was a lot worse for everyone else involved, but of course she’s really the only one that matters.

This video is really unrelated to this article but it is about a seriously deranged woman in Belgium burning alive her 3 children to death so her husband couldn’t gain custody and I didn’t want to start another topic. She even called her husband on the phone so he could listen to the screams of the children as they were burning – note that she didn’t kill the child she’d had with another man. There’s a special place in hell for her (metaphorically for me at least). I’ve recently found this guy’s videos and while he’s not MGTOW per se he is speaking the truth as he sees it. To new members:  Let these horror stories teach you to run – don’t walk – away from women seeking relationships.

i think this is correct reading this story on gets the notion that there’s so semantical distinction that makes this logical on some level. what a bitch like others said someone dies and it’s still all about her also how manically devoid of self responsibility do you have to be to blame some other version of yourself for your own actions. I predict judge will laugh and ask her to leave no way he sets a precedent that any insured driver can sue these,vex for their own accidents.
