Hey guys hope all is well and you guys all had some good seasonal holidays.

Ok well as I dont need to tell most of you guys there has been a lot of increased exposure of “sexual misconduct” and ” sexual harassment” going around with this #MeToo movement going on around the current rapid politically correct movements and far left wing liberals in tow.

Taking all this into consideration I am going to be taking on a personal trainer career which i really want to do and would love as a long term career since i get to help people out with fitness related stuff and get paid doing it so win win situation and a great labour of love in my mind.

that being said i do get the slight fear that for some reason a female may come around and lay down some bear traps in a sense to f~~~ it up so I have decided to ask some more of my seasoned and mature peers to get some advice to avoid these kinds of mishaps and signs of these possible pit falls.

Any advice or signs i should watch out for would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance

Seems like a good idea but I would rather not try to limit my possible earning pool if possible.

If possible: Have a body Cam. Not sure about the legalities there (privacy etc.)

    Keep a detailed log book.
Record time, date, location, activities AND weather forecast temperature at top.
These details can become legal evidence that will help you.

Make sure you always have at least one other person present when training a female.

Aussie’s suggestion is the best one, even if it does reduce the number of potential customers.

Cameras in the gym and cameras on your body don’t mean a thing because she doesn’t need to prove anything. The allegation alone is enough. If a woman points and shrieks, a gym is going to throw you under the bus without even bothering to look at any recording you may have.

Women are nearly every gym’s largest customer base. They’re the kind of customers businesses like gyms want because they sign up, pay their fees, and then never return after a few visits. Gyms will do anything to avoid a negative reputation among women because women are easy money.

What you and too many men still don’t realize is that the legal system is not part of the process anymore. She isn’t going to go to the cops, so having a recording you can show the police won’t help you at all. You’re going to be indicted, tried, and convicted on social media and in the press. There’s no “investigation”, no “trial”, and thus no need for “evidence”.

Recordings don’t matter in this situation. Only her allegation matters.

Assuming you are not getting into the job BECAUSE of the free pussy that may be on offer, what would you do if it’s offered? If you say yes, and f~~~ her, she could f~~~ up your life. If you say no, and she gets offended by that then she can just claim you offered to train her for free if she sucked your dick. Without being wired up like some FBI informant, you are f~~~ed either way in that scenario.

You stare at her cameltoe thru the yoga pants and she sees you doing it then it’s game on….Good luck.

I was a CPT, and I’d highly recommend only training men. Women won’t train hard or follow any advice you give anyway. Not to mention the potential risk if you so much as even spot her during a lift. Too risky.

I quoted Modern Day Warrior’s post in full because it is both accurate and important for you to read and comprehend, CasualGuy.

The “Pussy Pass” means women won’t follow your directions or advice because they’ve never been held accountable for anything. Also, if you try to motivate them, they can easily choose to perceive it as harassment.

Train men only. If the numbers require it, work in multiple gyms. The time you’ll spend shuttling between gyms to meet clients is nothing compared to the risk c~~~s pose to you, your work, and your reputation.

I would say have every client sign a disclaimer with a defined clause regarding harassment. Also agree with the above regarding the scheduled group classes. The one on one with the opposite sex these days is just too dangerous, and could threaten everything you’ve worked for.

You just have to cut your losses sometimes. I was an LMT until recently. When people ask why I stopped my practice, they actually understand and say that it’s a good call. Nobody has called me paranoid yet.

I agree that avoiding female clients is the best way to go if at all practical. I would probably work a 2nd part time job during the day to supplement income, and working clients a couple nights a week. I would think most of the good clients are working during the day and not available anyway.

If you are required to take on female clients, then I would probably get them to sign something when you start training them, letting them know that you have no intention of harassing them in any way. I’d follow that up by asking them to sign something at the end of each session, stating that they were satisfied with your service. If you do get a complaint, the signature probably wouldn’t help you out much. What it would do is deter women from complaining about you. A lot of women may believe that they gave up their right to complain if they are said there was no problem. As well, women often are initially ok, then their mood changes and they start misremembering a kind smile as gawking. The fact that she signed the she signed a document stating that she was ok may cause her to distrust her second thoughts.

Another point, if you must train women, perhaps it’s best to train the ones that are not attractive, not in good shape. Chances are they do not get much attention from men, and they will get more out of the paid attention you give them then trying to ruin you. An attractive woman, who gets hit on all the time and can’t do much about it…I’d bet she’d be more likely to take advantage of her one opportunity to punish someone for perceived gawking.

    Ok. Then do it.

That will work about as well as a prenup.

I’m going to repeat this again because too many men still haven’t grasped it:

The legal system is not part of the process.

#metoo is extralegal. It works outside any legal framework or process. All a woman need do is shriek and point. Waving a signed harassment disclaimer isn’t going to prevent an allegation just as wearing a body cam isn’t going to prove your innocence.

There’s no examination of the evidence, there’s no trial, and there’s no defense because the allegation is the conviction.

Tough spot have to agree best option is to only train men.

I don’t know a lot about body cams

Would using a go pro or similar with yhe excuse for training purposes work?

My photography buddies always demand a female have a chaperone during session, could be an idea for workout training.

That is completely true, but there is a bit of a backlash to this. There are a growing number of women who aware enough and afraid that men are going to avoid them in mass because of #metoo. They also think that real sexual harassment is going to be glossed over, society desensitized due to over exposure.

Both assessments are correct, however, they aren’t going to propose any solution to the problem, or assume that if #metoo backs off just a tad, then that will earn men’s trust. It won’t. Women will still wonder why the good men left, when the answer is sitting right in front of their faces.

    Ok. Then do it.

best option is to only train men.

True. Though it is probably out of the question for several reasons.
My version of the best option is to limit contact with females as much as possible in all situations. Don’t even have to think about a body cam if you can prevent a situation from even taking place by simply icing them out. I can’t give you any better advice since there’s no safe way to be alone with a female anymore.

Train the women…but wear a shirt that says “I am Gay” on it. That is about the ONLY way you should ever even try it! No f~~~ing t~~~ is EVER going to listen to a personal trainer…unless it’s a director like Ridley Scott telling her to lose 20 pounds or she is not going to be in his latest movie. No motivation for the average t~~~ to listen to any man. Especially one that is pushed on her by a gym membership. F~~~ that…pretend to be gay. #MANOUT!

Men only. Other than that and you are only kidding yourself.

I can tell already you love the idea of a nubile young woman…….dressed in some cute, skimpy outfit, her warm skin glistering with beads of sweat, those pert buttocks firmed up, and….and….

Oh…..damn……..I’m sorry…..I sort of lost myself there and went off somewhere….

    Men Only

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.
