I’ve been watching the Nightly News and saw this interview – couldn’t believe the crap that I heard.

According to this SJW activist against human trafficking – no woman ever want to sell her body, 95% of prostitutes are slaves of their pimps and they need to be saved. She claims that it is Johns who are guilty of exploiting these innocent girls. When asked if legalization of prostitution would solve that problem – she used faulty logic talking points that it would make it worse “Because it would be easier for buyers to buy girls”. She claims that legal adult prostitution would somehow cause rise in underage prostitution. She talks about underage girls not contacting police because when they’re over 18 – they’re considered to be a criminal. (WHAAAT? So are they underage or over 18?? make up your f~~~ing mind).

And she also implies because there’s underage sex trafficking in Pakistan – there is the same thing going on here and there is no difference between girl over 18 “prostituted” by pimp in US and underage prostitute in Pakistan – they’re both victims and it’s all men’s fault – pimps and Johns

If we had brothels that were run like a regular business that followed state regulations it would make things far safer for women. If women didn’t have to walk the streets at night and instead worked at a brothel that had it’s own security, they’d be less likely to be targets of assault. Owners of these businesses wouldn’t risk their investment by hiring underage girls, just like bars won’t serve alcohol to minors.

State health regulations would most likely require screenings for HIV and other STD’s. If a girl was found to have an STD or HIV they would consider her a health risk and fire her. Otherwise withholding that information would get them in deep s~~~ and could result in being put out of business. Not to mention they have control when it comes to drug use and wouldn’t allow it as illegal drug use on their premises would again result in legal problems.

Just like with Marijuana, the districts can vote on whether they want a brothel near their community or not. If it goes against the morals of most of the people in that community then they aren’t being forced to have a brothel there.

It’s a no brainer and another step to getting away from this bizarre view on sex that I doubt most people adhere to anymore.

There still is human trafficking going on, even in areas not with sex. The reality of prostitution not being legal makes the market stronger, but it would still exist. But, there isn’t just trafficking for sex. Illegal workers do get imported for manufacturing, for example, in some places.

In regards to sex, I am curious if a guy really would want to have sex with a woman being forced to via human trafficking.

Child trafficking, human trafficking, or whatever it is, is reprehensible behavior and should be severely punished.

Porn is the other option for these women and they might make more money and not have to sleep with men they don’t know anything about. Yet even in porn you have the suitcase pimps.

History has shown us that when you make a product in relatively high demand illegal, you will encourage a black market that is unsafe and prone to criminal activity (not just selling the illegal product). That is what happened with the abolition of alcohol, and we see a drop in criminal activity regarding marijuana.

I can’t see how sex traffic would increase if prostitution were legal. There are very john’s that would opt for an underage woman against her will in some seedy back alley hotel that could be carrying STDs, at a high price….when for an 18+ professional, who wants to be good at her trade, tested for STDs, and a fair market price, in a clean protected and private environment is available.

I am sure that a lot of men and women would participate in the market (buying and selling) that do not currently do so now, once some of the barriers and safety issues are removed. Many would regret that decision for various reasons. I really don’t have good grasp on the psychological impact. There is no doubt that it will change the dynamics between men and women, and most likely women will not get the best of that change overall.

    Ok. Then do it.

They are committing a crime by kidnapping people and coercing them to have sex for money with strangers. There’s plenty of illegal activity going on there, whether or not her transaction is legal.

It’s like people trying to move a hundred Kilo’s of weed in a state that has legalized Marijuana. They are still in deep s~~~ if they are caught.

It just shows how nuts they are. They are basically saying if something is legal it is protected from possible prosecution.

when I was trucking, i expected to see at least some action on truck stops. But I didn’t see anything in 6 month except for sex trafficking flyers. I am assuming there would be no way for someone to try to pimp out an underage girl at a truck stop because truckers would find the pimp and break his spine.

Prostitution is legal in Australia, and the majority of brothels are legally run. However there has been cases of some brothel owners charged with underage and sex (slave) trafficking.
Any industry where there is a profit to be made from criminal activity it can and most likely will happen.
But the overall majority of the industry is regulated and controlled, I believe the prostitutes are well looked after and protected.
Sex trafficking happens, but it is more likely to happen where there is no legal alternatives to satisfy the market.
