    I started my job in Q2. I got a 3% for the year.

    However because I was only here for half the year my raise is only 1.5%.

    I have never heard of this before. Is this common or am I being f~~~ed again?

    Ask them if you are going to get the other 1.5% when you complete your full year. If they say no, then they are f~~~ing you.

    Read your employment contract, and any related legal documents. If annual raise is not written there, the employer can give you whatever it wants.

    If you are short on money, you can get a lot more percent by optimizing how you spend it.
