I don’t really understand this story. Are we supposed to feel bad for her? Admire her…”courage”? So many things wrong here!
“I didn’t know much about homelessness before,” Jones said. “Honestly, I thought homeless people were panhandlers or people on the street that were hungry and cold and drug addicts and alcoholics who didn’t want to do anything for themselves. I work and make decent money when I’m working. I think part of the reason why I became homeless is because finding work and daycare and transportation and everything combined just made it impossible for me to keep a roof over our head.
This woman laments her circumstances, then the second to last paragraph is: “Jones is now pregnant with a son. “I’m excited, nervous, frightened, sad. I don’t know.”
WTF?!?
So, it’s one of those, “sorry it’s a boy” thing, again?
Another reason I stay away from msm.
Yea and no mention of either of the fathers.
My sympathies are with the children, not with the brain dead troglodyte of a mother!
I knew a guy who lived in a garage once… it was awesome, a total bachelor pad. He had a pinball machine and some overstuffed couches and he’d set up a bar in the corner and he would just pop the door and ride his motorcycle right into his living room. That was the coolest thing I’d ever seen.
Of course, he lived on the cheap. He wasn’t on the hook for two quarter-million dollar “toys” like this female. And yeah, that’s all children are, vanity purchases. Females nag me (including ones I’m not even f~~~ing!) about how I don’t “need” a jeep or “need” some guns or “need” a new telescope or a second computer or a trip to Iceland… but then they go crank out kids that cost WAY MORE than all the stuff I own and when I say “but you don’t NEED kids…” they look at me like I’d just said “you know, Hitler wasn’t so bad…”
Ooh, a used-up, knocked-up harlot is having to live in a garage???
That didn’t even make the needle twitch on my “Give-a-F~~~” meter.
I’m sure everyone out there expects us to donate and take up a collection on her behalf, just because another woman has a boo-hoo sob story, even though none of them would even think twice if a MAN was in this predicament.
Not that they would KNOW anyway. Because if a man was doing this, it would never make even a paragraph in the local news.
Are we supposed to feel bad for her? Admire her…”courage”?
I don’t care what the author of that article expects us to feel, but what we should feel for her is contempt. She is unable to support herself, much less children, but there she is willingly and intentionally choosing to force yet another child into a life of poverty and squalor.
Birth control is cheap and effective, but she chose not to use it. Abortions are legal and available, but she chose not to get one.
She has zero excuses. She chose this.
I refuse to read the article. I assume she has to sleep in the uncleaned litter-box of her life. Never fear somebody will be sending her money, start a fund for her… you worked for your money, you paid taxes you should NOT have had to pay. She can’t be expected to do that, after all: Vagina
