I must ask are porn bans a manifestation of a matriarchy, when you think about it porn provides men with a relief from their sexual drive under most circumstances. Would a prohibition of this material be form of control considering it utility to men, when you consider the level of political power women hold would this not be on their part?

The only thing that women have to ‘control’ men is sex.

So it wouldn’t surprise me if they tried to ban porn.

They seemingly just tried it in India and failed.

Without sex women are worth zero to a man. So sex will be the battleground.

I think the porn bans in India were a result of Religious influence more than Feminism or anything else. Remember any Religion wants it’s followers to reproduce rather than jacking off into tissues whilst watching computer screens.

Also most porn is Westernized so it’s also a case of trying to preserve their culture.

No matter what men can still masturbate without porn if they wanted to, albeit it might take longer. So they will never be able to stop men relieving themselves that way.

I see porn as more of a male control device than as a means of controlling or taking power away from women. Men, especially young boys and men see porn and then want to do that stuff themselves which is often not the sort of things that most females want to do and that is when women will entrap them by making all their porn dreams come true. How many men do you know who are with a woman they don’t love or even like just because of the sex?

It also makes them start spending their money on strippers, whores etc so I am in two minds about porn and it’s benefits to men.

Honestly, it may also have been a product of societal outrage. Men do a s~~~ ton of raping in India. They’re treated like children their entire lives, and then essentially forced into marriage by their parents to whom they owe everything. Typical, higher caste Indian men have no game having never dated, and a s~~~ ton of regret having only ever been allowed to f~~~ one fat Indian chick for their entire lives. On the flipside, lower caste males feel like they have very little to lose, and they have a s~~~load of pent up resentment for higher caste females. Sometimes they snap, and they’re like “Imma’ go rape dis bitch.”  I’m sure people there get p~~~ed like people here. There were probably a string of rapes that spurred enough public outrage to make Indian government officials think something like this would work. They were (of course) wrong, but that would be my guess as to why they did it. It was just an attempt at appeasing the outraged masses that flopped miserably.
