Society shame ppl who watch porn. They compare porn addiction to cocaine addiction.

Here’s an interesting thought experiment…. A person who has sex very often is “addicted” to sex. A lot of PUAs are addicted to sex. There are men and women who are addicted to sex. Why does society shame porn but does not shame sex? ….reproduction and child support $$$ I guess.

Do you guys think there is a difference between porn and sex addiction?

P.S. There are soooo many overweight women in real life….thanks to feminism. That’s why porn has risen in popularity… Overweight women are NOT attractive!!

I don’t believe there is such a thing as “addiction to sex” or “addiction to porn.” I just think people use these terms to shame single men who prefer one night stands, sex toys, and porn.

And when they use these terms they’re only doing so to shame single men. Have you ever seen people call women so called “sex addicts” and “porn addicts?”

I think in both cases, they are called being weak willed. I had a relative who got diagnosed as a sex addict…after she got caught cheating on her husband lol…she’d never had been diagnosed a sex addict if it wasn’t for that. It was like she just needed an excuse for her actions and At one point it was defined as “distress about a pattern of repeated sexual conquests or other forms of nonparaphilic sexual addiction, involving a succession of people who exist only as things to be used.” In other words…probably 90% of the population would fit this criteria so they removed it from the DSM lol. If people only had sex to express love and not just to get off there’d be a hell of a lot more people out there remaining virgins until they married lol.

Porn addiction…I think its the same thing…just being weak willed. If you watch porn every day and then just stop…its not like you’ll have any withdrawal symptoms. Its the same exact thing as if you play too many video games and cut video games out of your life. You aren’t going to feel bugs crawling on you while you detox…the worst side effect is boredom until you find something else to occupy your free time.

Every desperate virgin should try sex at least once in their lives to see that it’s really not all that. End goal is the same. Only difference is method and amount of resources you pour into it. Pay for it if you have to.

I spent most of teens and early 20’s glorifying sex as they always make it out to be quite the sensation… My blood, sweat and tears invested into getting some. Then my first relationship and sex came along and left me feeling very underwhelmed.

I don’t agree that it’s ‘society’ that attempts to shame people about the use of porn. It seems to be feminism that does that and I suspect ‘shaming’ is an attempt at control. They don’t like porn because they see that if a man controls his own orgasms on his own he needs a woman a whole lot less. So they’re trying to eliminate the competition.
