Poor MGTOW, Alone for Thanksgiving

I am sure I am not the only one who hears this crap. Yes I am going to be alone for Thanksgiving, and I am so looking forward to it.

In my blue pill days, this was one of my favorite holidays, no gifts, no 60 day pressure to fight for some worthless crap. Just family for the most part eating, watching parades and later football

Now I will not watch NFL, they politicized the damn parades, and my Parents are gone and I just don’t want to impose on a visit if I wanted too. It’s a token invite anyway; let’s invite the MGTOW bro, hope he doesn’t spout red pill s~~~ while he is here…

But you know, I will cook a turkey, stuff it, make oyster dressing, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie for me. Why? I guess it’s ingrained, but it just feels good.

I’m not eating someone else’s swill they pass for food bought and heated up for guests. I am a damn fine cook and I like to eat good food. It’s comfort food I guess, but I just love the smell, taste and coma associated with a fine oven roasted turkey.

Never had a women who could match my skills in the kitchen. I’m eating like a MGTOW king, and I would not ant it any other way. I’ll heat it up all weekend. The hell with society, but I will take some more stuffing with some gravy

Im going mule deer hunting in the back country for Thanksgiving. I have no family of my own but I will eat with others who do. I can leave whenever I want without permission. I will also wake up when I want without attending to screaming children.

I have noticed that others seem to be sometimes jealous of all my care free time. They see it as being wasted since its not being squandered in service to women or their children. When I am asked to do favors, I enjoy saying no thanks, I am fine. I will see you later when I get back from fishing. By the way, I do not know when I will get back from fishing.

I’m alone for thanksgiving and have an easy meal ready to go in freezer .. with about five to ten minutes total work involved other than just waiting for it to bake .. five to ten minutes out of my day

Turkey Loaf .. frozen to baked in oven and requires zero work other than turning on stove, opening package, bake until done (about three hours) .. and as a bonus it supplies gravy for potatoes and has it’s own sealed baking tray supplied .. about three minutes total effort

Stove top stuffing .. just boil water and stir .. basically zero effort

Canned cranberry … just open container

Dinner rolls .. just open package

Fresh mashed potatoes .. peel two potatoes and cut into chunks and lightly boil chunks in water for ten to fifteen minutes and mash .. less than two minutes labor (gravy from Turkey Loaf)

Desert .. pie .. zero work .. store bought .. zero effort

While the meal is baking … I plan to change engine oil on lawn mowers and snow blower. Really can’t give up or waste these unusual warm days prior to winter .. even during a Holiday. Might even tidy up garage. No innate desire to socialize day away, anyway. Give me quiet life. I just prefer puttering and as long as that doesn’t affect anyone else .. I’m enjoying my day. Might even finally get that SSD installed in laptop during evening. I don’t have TV access .. so won’t have sports. Might watch a concert to finish off day .. I’m quite certain it will be Phil Collins ‘Live and Loose in Paris’ .. if you haven’t seen this one .. see it. The number of cameras used to get this footage is amazing. Have great day.

I’m cooking Big Kohoona burgers and f~~~it, mac’n’cheese like secret agent mentioned, I haven’t had that in a long time!

Last Thanksgiving was just me and my roommate and we cooked up a storm then ate like kings for days on end. Farthest thing from sad. Hooray for food!

I’ll leave the fact that my only family is my parents, whom I might add I get along with splendidly.

Otherwise, I’m viewing my Thanksgiving through the lens of private-productivity: yard work, house work, golf, and building a rainwater harvesting system. If I have any gumption left, I may fart around with a car or two. I see my alone time as having the ability to maximize my time with a higher rate of ROTI (Return On Time invested) than if I was with anyone.

Of course I’ll still end up having Thanksgiving dinner with the parents, but since I already check-in with them at least 3-4 times per week, I do not need to spend an extended amount of time visiting with them on T-Day; which would cut into my normal productivity schedule.

I thoroughly enjoy and routinely appreciate not having to answer to anyone but myself. In a way, I can be everything from the Dude in “The Big Lebowski” to Senior Drill Instructor Hartman in “Full Metal Jacket.”
