Oberlin is one of the most liberal colleges in America — ranked No. 13 in one list. Tuition, room and board are over $60K. That’s more than was spent on my entire undergrad Engineering degree!

But I wish I had instead gone to Oberlin and received my degree in Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist studies.

Oberlin makes attending the Savannah College of Art and Design actually make sense though SCAD is mega bucks for a useless degree too. $80,000 of debt to land a part time barista job. Yeah baby! You’d better have some wealthy parents.

My family is loaded with artists and musicians. I am the quantitative freak. Even as a young man I knew time spent on music was a waste of time though I do love playing. One nephew who is talented at both art and music wisely chose Engineering.
