I view “political correctness” as the ultimate expression of mass-suicide. Because those that are silenced are the ones pointing out how everyone is about to go over the cliff.

That’s exactly what i hate about political correctness. It’s blatantly dishonest speech. If I’m fat, i wanna be called fat. I don’t wanna be called “curvy” or “big boned.” Same if I’m retarded, stupid, or handicapped.

Political correctness is thought control and it brainwashes people into these dishonest f~~~wits that are too scared to be “offended” yet, when they get out in the real world, they can’t handle it. They need their “safe spaces.”

Political correctness is one of those things, like shariah law, that nobody likes, nobody wants, but nobody can speak up about it because of the consequences of doing so.

It’s like when you go to church and you pretend to be someone you’re not so everyone thinks you’re a good Christian or, perhaps more accurately, so nobody thinks you’re a bad person. It’s the new matriarchal religion/cult without the incentive of heaven and hell is here on earth.

What I find interesting is that a state of being will get a new term for it, to be able to be spun as positive somehow. Well, the nature of the state ends up catching up to the positive spin, so they end up using yet another term to replace it. You will see “impaired” for a disability being replaced also.

And the complaints about the needs for “safe spaces” is absurd also. If you want a safe space, unplug from the Internet, put a “do not disturb” sign on your door, and mind your own business. If you want others in it, then get some friends, and screen them and have some standards. I personally value my interests more than the need to have others in my space, so I don’t put up with things.

Spot on. ‘Retarded’ (which has become a horrible word) was replaced by ‘developmentally delayed’ – which means exactly precisely the same thing – and for a couple of decades now, if you call a kid in the system ‘DD’ they’ll throw a punch just like if you call them a retard. The problem is the attitude, not the language, and political correctness is about controlling language. It can also be used to justify the most atrocious evils as long as you use the correct language to describe them, eg the feminists using PC language to give refugees/migrants a rape pass.

Disclaimer: have not had a change to watch the videos yet.

15 years into my military career I made the conscious decision to STOP being “politically correct.” Now that I am retired from the military I am a State Appointed Hygienics Consultant.
When I stopped being politically correct I figured it would lead to trouble and I would eventually end up in a back office somewhere to rot away until retirement…I was wrong. It had the opposite effect. I immediately gained a following at all levels and a reputation as someone who could be trusted, because “he always speaks the truth”, along with that came recognition, promotion and most importantly, I became the guy all ranks and all classifications came to for help. No matter the problem nor the task I was counted on. So…
I see it like this…all you have is you. And you should never be afraid to be yourself, after all, you’re only human.
But hey, what the f~~~ do I know? Now I’m just a janitor at a Junior College.
