I’m all for treating people with respect and extending the same courtesy to others as you would like in return.

With that said, this is a situation whereby a “BBW” overheard two other people making fun of fat people. It was not specifically directed at the “BBW”. The idea that she was “mortified” by it is an exaggeration, because that’s an extreme word. Does the “BBW” honestly think that some people don’t laugh and joke about fat people during private conversation?
