Hey fellas,
This time it is a real post and not a joke. Although this is completely up to me, but I need some input as I don’t want to make a bad decision.
Right now I’m employed in an electronics assembly company. They have been training me for a few days now and expect me to start afternoons next week. Now this job pays me 15.50$ an hour and no benefits. However this is a pretty interesting job, but I’m not sure how far I can go here. And from what I observed, the line can be entirely automated in about 10 years. Still, I like the work itself although there’s a bunch of womenz there, there’s not too much of an obstacle.
Now the other company is a weed growing company and they offered me a position as a grower. They pay 18$ an hour. I have to do some manual labor and carry 50 pound buckets. I’ve had a shoulder injury and back injury recently. I may struggle with heavy s~~~. Also, there may be other opportunities available to grow, but again not sure yet…
So basically current job is less pay, but I do much less physical work but it requires lots of attention and focus. I like that. The low pay though and afternoons are a negative somewhat… the other one is slightly more pay. But then again where does it go to? To the government as I’m now in a higher tax bracket.
Anyway yall get the idea. Please let me know which job you would chose. Go as much or as little in detail as you wish. Thank you.

Well clearly if you’re not physically able to lift heavy weights and you’re worried about paying more taxes then the choice is obvious, is it not? Then again, you’ll have to worry about the pound me too bullcrap… but as long as you keep to yourself(and hopefully there’ll be cameras or you have a bodycam) you should be fine.
I, Lelouch Vi Britannia, command you, all of you, to Go Your Own Way!!
Anonymous1Let’s say you go down path a or b…
1. What are you going to put on your resume for your NEXT job?
2. What are you going to tell the interviewer for your NEXT job when he asks, “So, what are you doing now?”“Carrier of 50 lb buckets of weed” is less than optimal.
Can you arm/shoulder back into enough good condition tovwork there? Could you discuss this with the weed people, and maybe work,on getting the shoulder fixed and posibly find another way to move the buckets around, on maybe a small dolly/cart? At least until the shoulder/arm is strengthened?
Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.
Anonymous42Show me the money then gaslight a fortune on the side!
Which one do you want to do? if you want to grow, get the shoulder and back in shape and go for it but let them know you need to take it easy at first till you heal, if you want the other job go for it. Best of luck.

Anonymous54The one you enjoy more, that wont f~~~ up your back.
There were a few good points made already. Weed is still illegal in most states. If you go into that area, there is no way to delete that from your CV.
How far will 2.5 dollars bring you? Before taxes.
I’d say stay with what you know. Probably you can get some education, so you can be part of the automation process. You do have a practical experience background and that might be an advantage further on.
Stay on the MGTOW road brother, become the best yourself, you can imagine. Don’t waste your potential. Especially with your medical limitations you’ll have to consider to strive for a position upwards the career ladder."Him, who delights in solitude, is either a wild beast or a GOD!" - Aristotle (Aristot. Anonymous0Right up now I am getting myself ready to another working day…
I got somewhat similar with your situation – I am also got new job recently and I’m not satisfied with it (one of the main reasons – this small company cannot provide me what I need for further developing in my area of science and engineering as a specialist).
I anticipate that either way those jobs cannot satisfy you either. It’s just a matter of time, when I or you will change this current job onto another. And it’s just a matter of time for me when I got enough recourses to start my own project, in my own special way. And of course it’s just a matter of time when you get yours too.
So why to bother to plan for 10 years of work as weed grower or worker? Please, check what jobs align with your own way, with what you eager and crave to do in the future as your own career master. And I anticipate, that neither of those jobs suits your purposes in the long run,
so, my humble advices would be these:
– Please don’t stop search of another jobs, if you’re really want to get your plan done – look up for work in accordance with your plan, pick up the closest job which would suits your agenda in the future. Check up any interesting one with your plan.
– There won’t be ideal job (except for what you would create for yourself), so any of them would be temporary. Couple of weeks, months, year, two – it’s just the questions “When, how, and at what checksum to leave?”
– If you need money, you can always stay for a while at current job while looking for another. It’s what you’re doing now. And I wish you get you search extended in its areas and time.
-But if current job suck your soul – leave immediately! It doesn’t worth it, mental health is way more valuable than that bulls~~~, proved by personal experience.
– Personally, I think that weed growing job has 2 major minuses: heavy manual labor, which inevitably gets your health worsened and possible career interference in the future. If I were you, I would get current job changed onto something else rather than weed growing, but would change anyway.
– If you think that it’s impossible to get somewhat decent jobs onto span of couple of years to start your own plan and agenda working – well, I’m in Russia and it is real even here, in conditions of economic collapse. But I’ll say that my own agenda requires relocation in another country, unfortunately. I think if it’s possible in Russia, it’s definitely possible in USA.
I wish you good luck, Russky2!
Go with the first job.
If your injuries are going to heal, they won’t do so if you’re constantly carrying around heavy stuff and causing more damage. If your injuries are not going to heal, no sense going into a place where you’re just setting yourself up to do more damage and then not even be able to do either job. If your injuries heal up, then you can think about the other job. Hope that helps.
Learn from the past, Control the present, and you will know the Future.
It depends on many factors like
1. How old are you? If you are only in your early 20’s then you can risk making a decision which may not build a career for you, yet might be good for you mentally and you can stay there for like a year and rethink it later.
If not, then you should consider what can become a career for you.2. Happiness happiness happiness – remember, even though money and benefits are a good factor for a decision, you also need to think what makes you moving, what will make you wake up in the morning with a smile and not thoughts of calling sick.
People often think money is the only parameter, then they suffer for years doing something they hate, I make good money but I could make much more somewhere else, but you know what? I am happy with my job and it’s more important for me than an extra thousand in my account each month3. What kind of people are there? Do you think they are fun to be around ? Remember most of your week, you spend at work, the people factor is crucial
Hey fellas. Well I couldn’t sleep yesterday thinking about this, but just today in the morning I’ve decided my fate to try out the weed company.
It is a risk due to the fact that future employment might be compromised. But I think of it in a different way, as I may not necessarily end up working with weed all my life. I plan on doing it for awhile, get experience and then after years of hard work apply as a Master Grower in agriculture field. After all, we will need to produce a lot of food in future.
It is a risk due to some injuries. My shoulder is more chronic, but I need to see a chiropractor. They didn’t specifically mention how OFTEN I will be carrying heavy loads. Just said that MUST BE ABLE to lift 50 pounds.
The electronics company is good, but has it’s own negatives. In either way concerning my decision, without risk there’s no rewards. If I f~~~ed up, well it’s not the end of the world. Companies need slave laborers to work there.

The Dope growing job appears to be the better of the 2 jobs, but probably not for you because of potential physical injuries that could leave you without ANY job.
Why not keep doing the assembly job, but continue to look for a better job that isn’t as physically demanding as the dope growing job, but also may offer better pay, benefits, and hopefully some type of future ?

It doesn’t seem to be that big an increase in wages to make a change worth it.
If it was $20 per hour but it is paying $2.50 more an hour…
I would stay where you are and continue your search for something better.

Anonymous0Hey man thanks for the reply. Where do you live in Russia, are you happy with the recent elections??
Central European part of Russia, my native town is in Nizhny Novgorod region, near Volga. Right up now I’m at another town at Volga river. I would rather not to dox myself because of this:
But if we’ve met with each other in real life I would be more likely to tell more detailed and interesting things about it = )
Speaking of elections, I’m not happy with them, ’cause political life in Russia is not so fascinating least to say. Usually I don’t discuss politics, but now it’s worth saying, that recent elections in Russia showed that, unfortunately, political life in Russia is more likely to be dead than alive. It’s sad theme, man.
Anonymous12am a bit late to the party, but here are my 0,02
take the tech job, see where it goes, and go to the gym and improve your health and power and stamina and s~~~…and when you are fit and tough like a Tractor, take the weed job.
But hey.
Good luck! And keep us posted 🙂- AuthorPosts
