Apparently this is all related two two YouTube vid-bloggers having a disagreement of opinions. Messenger Rising has decided to take it into the MGTOW forums. You’re not alone, alot of men are right now scratching their heads and saying “whatthefug?”.

That’s why YouTube should be thought of as a media storage facility and not a communication platform.

There are bound to be disagreements. “This is a response video….. to another response video…. about an original video by a person who said… and then they said… and then I responded….. and then they said….. and now I’m responding with……”.

Of course you’re going to get a conflicting opinion.

I get Messenger’s post. I also get that we’re men and we’re going to argue about s~~~ and have differing opinions than others. But, after we’ve “had at it” we can have drinks or whatever and laugh it off.

MGTOWs shouldn’t hold grudges. That’s a thing that women do.

If I believed I had incontrovertible proof that, say, Messenger Rising was married and felt it was important to assassinate his credentials in order to silence his message, I would just post it and let the fellas decide for themselves rather than starting an “email for details” whisper campaign against him as my first public act in this space… but that’s just me.

@keymaster, Since you are the gate keeper here and exercise some degree of editorial control over what is and is not allowed to be posted, I figure you’d have an opinion as to whether or not there was a possible threat, legal or otherwise, to openly declaring war on someone’s credentials and I’m curious to know what that opinion is.

If it’s open season on MGTOW YouTubers here then so be it and I’m glad I’m not one!

Last year, Jan started a thread asking our opinions predictions for MGTOW in 2016. I wrote one of my usual multi-paragraph efforts and included this line:

We’ll see more and more self-proclaimed MGTOW spokesmen involved in p~~~ing contests on the internet and in the MSM as they try to “prove” they’re the real MGTOWs.

And here we are. Two self-annointed MGTOW “spokesmen” are having a hissy fit on Youtube and one of them has run crying here to “warn” us about the other.

This isn’t junior high, Mgtow Messenger, and you aren’t a teenaged girl. Whatever “problems” you two have, act like men, deal with the issue between yourselves, and don’t rope the rest of us into your manufactured drama.

Mgtow Messenger, chalk this up as a learning opportunity. You can do better.

It’s not really an opinion. Personally identifiable information is strongly discouraged, but we can’t forbid it if someone posts an email for contact. Otherwise our forum members are first class at admin-ing themselves, and there has been no need to even amend the very mild forums guidelines we have in 19 months.

It’s really not our style to delete threads. They represent everyone’s invested time to read and respond. Throwing it away is not something we like to do at all, because even the garbage threads often morph into excellent examples of what not to do and they are visible in the Litter Box for reference.

Even if a user personally requests it, we will do it, but not on a whim. This all contributes to members THINKING before they post and adds value to the forums.

While “we reserve the right to delete anything for any reason”, doing something “just because you can” is not a demonstration of strength, power or superiority.

Only 5 threads out of +9000 have been “closed” (to date) and we only trashed a handful. Most of them dupes, nulls – or because the user requested it. Even then, we spoke with them about it first and strongly objected.

Beyond a few very minor edits, I lost my patience only once – when two members where going at each other and I hammered the delete button. That’s why we accellerated the live chat. They can take it in there. (coming AQAP)

The only arbitrary deleting we will do (with no explanation hesitation or apology) is deleting a rogue female member. One whiff of it, and it’s “OOPS!. I must have clicked delete by mistake. So sorry.”… just like she *accidentally* clicked “I am a man and my word is honorable” upon signing up.

This is why I love this forum so much. It promotes freedom of speech among MGTOWs and bans manginas/white knights/social justice warriors/women.

I also love these forums because the admins don’t censor people because they get butthurt. Unlike other forums or chat rooms.

When an admin/moderator allows open disagreement within an open forum such as this website, it makes the members respect them even more. It also shows that the mods/admins have more integrity and honor than others on different websites.

Being MGTOW doesn’t mean anything outside of yourself being a man who is avoiding marriage for your own reasons. With this, comes issues each man going MGTOW needs to decide. Doing this doesn’t assure anything, including the not holding grudges, turning MGTOW itself into one’s way, doing YouTube videos, and believing MGTOW is some sort of religion that will liberate all men, if you can just convert enough of them to avoid women.

I would say, without the filling of the void left by not chasing women, it is easy to get caught up in all sorts of prettiness. Having a YouTube channel can make things worse and lead to delusions that you are somehow changing the world and saving men, by doing videos.

I also agree with the Youtube thing. Which is why I tend to avoid making videos about MGTOW on Youtube.
