    I agree with this.

There were three ways I could get into a flying career.

Uni then head hunted by one of the airlines that visited.

Military but I didn’t have it in me then (would have picked it now though)

Back door method which I chose.

I drove trucks to pay for flying lessons. Then became instructor at same flight school. More truck driving then got foot in door at small airline as an engineer waiting for a copilot position to free up.

    The rest is history.

Looking back I would be tied in to a 10 year contract with airline from uni plus uni debt.

I have flown many types on my climb up the ladder and this gave me good grounding and logbook for future jobs.

I think uni now is just like a burger chain.

It’s all about the profit. Who cares what’s in the product … as long as the chumps keep eating it.

I feel so sorry for kids these days. Everything is s~~~ and education is a scam.

Very sad and I don’t think it will ever get back.

I refused to go to college or university for one reason….I didn’t and still don’t want debt. Now it appears with all the females attending colleges in droves piling up all that debt, we are on the verge of forgiving the debt in question. Would we even be considering this if it was mainly men attending uni? My take is that all those entirely useless liberal arts and womens studies majors are going to blat so hard about it that it happens. Debt forgiveness for women only? That would seem to be a logical choice for this stupid ass society. Or maybe they could force guys like me, 2 homes paid for, car paid for, all the instruments any musician could need…paid for, to chip in and help because there is no way I will otherwise. I am already forced through what I have always considered unfair school taxes to help them educate their spawns of chad. On this point I will agree that “it takes a village” and all that crap to justify school taxes, but I don’t want to pay the school system to throw away money everywhere, which is what they do. Until I have a health care package or a retirement as good as a teacher or administrator, they should not be taxing me for that. Tax me to run a school, ok if you have to…tax me to pay exorbitant salaries for life…never going to be fair. So, maybe I should have attended uni…..maybe my debt would be “forgiven” too. Not.

For the “Graduates earning less than those who did not go to university research reveals” article, I would like to point out that it is talking about grads in Great Britain. I know that in America, employers do weed out people by only looking for people with bachelor degrees in order to do a simple job as a file clerk which even a person with a high school diploma can do easily. As for people having trouble to read entire books for their bachelor degree, why won’t the people just read books at their own pace, tuition free while not even applying for courses at the university? I would only say this to people who only want a bachelor’s degree to get self enlightened and nothing else though.

That’s pretty true. Varying careers in the United States still rely on degrees for those careers, although people with degrees can still potentially not be able to get jobs. They also concern with prior experience too.

That’s what I hate about the growing populations in the US. Things like this, sadly, are getting worse and more complicated to handle.

The fun part is these women are looking for water during a drought. We are in a depression and these women have been a big part in making sure men are denied jobs, opportunities, family, and freedom. Yet, they still think they can find someone to pay their debts when most men barely have the money to take care of themselves. Let alone others.

I agree with You Want What. I do not go to college because I did not want to deal with debts either. My great worry is someday some greedy welfare whore may try to use the courts to make me pay her child support for her bastard children, with me have never having met this woman. With identity theft, this is happening, and the courts are siding with the whores.

And with sexist laws, the whore and her children have their identities hidden and the men are denied facing their accusers.

In such a situation, I am not sure what I would do. All I know is that it would not be pretty.

I may go scorched earth and make sure the c~~~ would not see a penny of anything I have. And I will die rather than go to jail. And I am not talking about suicide.

But, may god have mercy on anyone that tries to make me “man up” to be a slave to a c~~~ I never even met, because I won’t have mercy on them.

so im going to uni soon to study a proper stem degree but from what i can see most of the degrees used in this study are pretty fluff, even medicine here in the uk is bad since u got so many people trying to become doctors too.
from what ive seen proper stem degrees here in the uk earn about 20%~ higher starting salaries then the average
id like some advice from anyone whos gotten a proper stem degree rather than biology or some bulls~~~ like the arts

    Everyone gets a prize.

I have a friend. He was going to school for electrical engineering. One semester he got a B+ in his speech class. The college told him to take a semester off and think about it.

Since he wasn’t in college anymore they let his draft board know.

He got a free trip to Korea for the war.

Now you can graduate with straight C’s in social studies.

The problem is that too many people go to college and get stupid degrees.

    Typical, the vag at the end of the first article goes straight to blaming men rather than taking any personal responsibility whatsoever;

Lizzy Kelly, a history student at Sheffield added: “Students might be more inclined to read what academics want them to if our curricula weren’t overwhelmingly white, male and indicative of a society and structures we fundamentally disagree with because they don’t work for us.”

Not too late to change to Women’s Studies you poor, precious snowflake. I’m sure you’ll fit right in.

I went to college and got my degree in computer science. Now I’m $70,000 dollars in debt and I’m still applying to jobs in my field a year later after I graduated.

I’m glad I got my degree, but employers value experience above all else. Even in my field. Most want at least a year or more worth of experience. But how am I supposed to get experience if no one ever gives me a chance?

Sometimes I wish I never got my degree because at least then I’d still be applying for jobs, but I wouldn’t have to worry about the debt I’m in now.
