I got to ride a cart that used car alternators as motors, with a rather exotic esc and driver setup. It was near impossible to hear it apart from road noise, from something made from scrap the cops could not catch it.

Judging by the airspeed alone that B-17 is carrying allot of weight from the articulate attention to detail and the added weight thereof.

I call those kind of models flying bricks! Take your eyes off the plane, or your hand off the sticks, and that brick is going through a window!

Icing does the same thing! And yes, I had that happen to me! I landed with near FULL POWER! Another 20 seconds of icing and it would have been ugly, very ugly in deed!
