I have fond memories of hearing The Wall from many years ago. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that about your father, but that is cool that you have that and one day your son will.

Only cool album I have left is Cheech & Chong Big Bamboo…I still have the giant rolling paper in it 🙂

In 1973 my friends introduced me to Pink Floyd, cannabis, and girls. Pink Floyd is still a big part of my life.

    Man…

Turn off the lights… Close all the windows in your home… Grab a few beers, if you smoke, light up a cigarette or (whatever the hell you are into), sit in a comfortable chair, fire it up in the DVD (or your sound system) The Wall and after that, fire up the Dark Side of The Moon…

S~~~, Pink Floyd is just INSANE, brothers…

One night, me and my two brothers, we were having a barbecue. No women around, just us. We turned off all the lights in the apartment (here we have a grill inside our apartments), and turned on the DVD with The Wall and The Dark Side of The Moon soon after… That night, the only lights were from the fire and the TV set. No words were spoken. Not that they were needed… Pink Floyd said it all.

The BEST f~~~ing night of my life.

"Young was I once, I walked alone, and bewildered seemed in the way; then I found me another and rich I thought me, for man is the joy of man." Odin, Hàvamàl, stanza 47.

I can’t sing to save my life, but f~~~ yeah, I sing along to them the best I f~~~ing can!
Wish You Were Here is a song my sis & I used to sing together, way back when we were teenagers.

No words were spoken. Not that they were needed… Pink Floyd said it all.

The BEST f~~~ing night of my life.

Sounds like an epic night & no words spoken, as if anything other than that would fly 🙂

    ROCK ON!

I do this at least once a year. Roll up a couple joints, turn the lights off, put the headphones on and listen to Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here in their entirety. I do it with The Wall every now and then too.

Think I may start doing that…maybe even more than once a year.

After many hours of research, I have found that it also works well for Tommy by The Who, Genesis’ first Live album, Rush’s 2112, Clockwork Angels or A Farewell to Kings, or The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper.

Great album, but not their best. My opinion.

    A Saucerful Of Secrets?

Since it has all 5 band members on it.
