I am already out in the “Boonies.” Yes, I love it here. Ten miles to a gas station, fifteen to the grocery. I couldn’t live out in the desert, that’s too much for me. I like to have civilization around, but not too close. You know: to hear a plane flying in the sky,or someone out in the distance mowing their lawn. A chainsaw running; stuff like that is good, no people too close, but somewhat nearby is fine.
