Hey guys, I’m switching over to PC because mainly I’m interested in playing crpg games like Pillars of Eternity and Divinity Original Sins 2. What would you say is a good build?

im not very sophisticated in the games I play, I stick with World of Tanks and World of warships. I’m not into first person shooter fantasy or sci fi games.

I am a tank, I hide behind bushes and rocks and I shoot at other dudes in tanks. It makes me happy.

    Hey Jacks,

Older rpg’s won’t need new tech to play, so you can buy cheaper components.

    I’d start with a guide such as…

    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-pc-builds,4390.html

Decide on a budget, watch online reviews showing performance on resource hungry games, include enough for decent display, keyboard and mouse.

Another option, especially for older tech is refurbished, such as from the dell outlet.

I built a computer tower with a little help of a buddy of mine about two years back.

Outside of a new graphics card (he loaned me his old one), I haven’t had ANY setbacks or low performance for two years strong now.

If building is an interest for you (personally a must if you want quality), check out Newegg.com for parts. Pro tip: Get refurbished parts for cheaper; not “new” per se but usually good quality.

It depends on what you wanna play as PC is capable of playing the bulk of game consoles on the market.

Of you want to play all the classic games you can just emulate them and that includes the huge libraries from Nintendo, Sony, Sega, Amiga, Spectrum, Dos and more.

Check this site brother for ideas…

Check the games you want to play and build around it with extra specs…No need to get top of the line rig unless you have the money…Its a balance of the stuff you are going to use the PC for…
