The author’s roomie was never a dyed-in-the-wool feminist.  One of those would have blamed the women’s failure on being raised in a patriarchal society that discourages women from developing survival skills; blamed men for making such a f~~~ed up show; and noticed that the islands represent boobs when viewed from above because men are rapey pigs.
