The best browser based password manager, I strong recommend it. No need to memorize or use same passwords for multiple of sites.

Don’t mind saying I am apprehensive about “password managers” for the simple reason that the developer can THEORETICALLY transmit the password from within the app to someplace else. Thanks for the suggestion, though. Recent OSs are starting to have the browser auto-fill the password from the local library, which I don’t even like because if you get your laptop stolen or leave it while logged in, a nosey girlfriend can just log back in and see your credit card receipts.

I learned this the hard way when I got the third degree on why I bought myself a book on Amazon entitled “The Cultural Devastation of American Women – The Strange and Frightening Decline of The American Female” – by Nancy Levant. The next thunderclap I heard was the sound of her vagina closing to me forever.

    F~~~ password managers. (lolz)

I keep all my passwords in a text document, locked in an encrypted hard drive partition with an encrypted USB partition as backup. The only password I have to actually remember is the password that mounts my partition. Has worked great for me so far.

@ keymaster it’s salt hash there is noway to decrypt the main password as long the main pass word is strong enough. The server can’t even restore the password if you lose your password you have a chance getting it back due to the local key, without the local key you’re out of luck. Password is only encrypted and decrypted locally.

I’m using a open source software called KeePass. It also has various ports to other platforms including mobile devices.
