Note that this is spoiler heavy so if you have any intention of watching this movie, you were warned.

Science fiction is one of my favourite genres and it was not heavily populated with blue pill ideas and propaganda. That said, Passengers made me cringe. Basic plot of the movie goes like this – Ship engineer is awaken during year 30 of 120 years voyage to distant star. After 1 year of contemplating suicide he decides to corrupt the pod of hot, funny, 20y old, blonde bombshell and after waking her up basically sentences her to slow death while gliding through deep space. After some questionable plot hops involving android, awaken chief deck officer and successfully resisting exhaust hatch of a huge thermonuclear reactor, at the end hot blonde bombshell has an option to go into autopod, sort of cryosleep basket, thus sleeping until destination.

But she chooses to sacrifice her life to spend next 60 years alone with the man that has woken her up. Wow, hollywood, rabbit hole does go deep.

So what is the message i see here being pushed to the mainstream ? Men are savages who kill innocent people for a pastime and women are sacrificial angels who willingly give their life away to their captors. This is a movie that can only be enjoyed by self hating manginas, white knight and blue pill idiots, and for delusional woman who only get reinforced ideas from mainstrem about how they are victims.

Sadly, opportunity for a decent plot wasted on a gender warfare.

I love it. I used to work with a young man who was a movie fanatic. I used to get him to tell me the entire plots, scenes, dialogs of the films he’d seen while we were in the work truck.

He would ask me, “Aren’t you afraid it will wreck the movie for you?”

I told him I didn’t care. I’d forget what he had said when I finally got around to watching the movie years later. I loved to listen to him describe his experience at the movie. He was better than hollyweird. His explanations were more sincere.

Nice post. Thanks for the warning.

To be fair, all of mankind is living on a giant spaceship revolving around the sun.
So a woman spending her existence with a tall handsome man is the goal for most women.

Yes, if he serves as a disposable utility to provide for her and as a hypergamy force to position her in the society.

But glorifying spending your eternity with basically your murderer alone is as perverse, blue pill and unrealistic as it gets. Just flip the context and holywood is glorifying kindappers who have person locked in basement for 40 years. Ofcourse packaged into sacrificial women love.

Interestingly enough Sol is masculine and Terra is feminine so really She revolves around He.
Emma Watson’s HeForShe is a travesty of the natural order of things.
Of course, in the Upside World, you can imagine how that may confuse Blue-Pilled stuffed deluded Menginas.
Hollywood’s gone off the deep end with their anti-male hero feminist archetype usurping Male Power in the 7th Art. Shame on them.

Technically he’s not a murdered. She can theoretically live a full life with him before the ship gets to it’s destination.
It’s definately a douchy move. She’s be mortified if it was Rorshaqe from that movie the Watchmen. It’s that guy from Guardians of the Galaxy. A Hollywood leading man so I can see her forgiveness of the situation. Also she won’t starve so resource aquisition isn’t a priority. It’s female fantasy land they have a different morality code.

I’m a big fan of sci-fi flicks. Check out The Expanse; it’s a very good adaption of the books.
