I have realized that me just staying thin is no longer enough for me to be satisfied with my body. I probably am beyond my shelf life for parkour, but I am going to strive to better myself all the same…

As much as I admire the enthusiastic charge & rally….I know I have a long ass road ahead of me, if I were to ever be pulling that cool ass s~~~ off!

I just know it has lite a fire under my ass to be in the best shape I can muster at my age.

For now, I am just setting my sights on the freerunning & see how that goes.

Being able to at least pull off a back flip would be grand though. 🙂

Getting in shape is half the work, staying in shape is an everyday thing. It’s not easy to break nagging habits and some days I don’t even wanna look at my dumbbells. Yet I look at my body, I can see how it pays off. I’m 45 and my body screems 30!
Running ain’t my idea of fun but the shower afterwards makes up for everything. Too bad I can’t force on my abdominals due to a hernia so I can forget the six-pack.
At least you’re not overweight, you’ll have an easier time beefing up. Depends on your constitution as well. My brother works out too but he’s more on the thin side, no matter what he does he can’t gain volume.
All the best on your efforts, bro.

Yeah, 47 in about 3 weeks here. It is cool having your body looking that young. People always think I am pulling their leg, when I tell them my age. 😛 I really am not that thrilled with running either. Would prefer to do it indoors, at least while getting myself in shape. Sorry to hear that about the hernia. I have a bit of a gut, but not much. Not thin as I want to be on that. About 3 inches would probably flatten that right up. I did injure my back way back when, and it acts up on me from time to time. Thinking if I build my core strength up, that it would help me probably even more than I am hoping for it to.

Beefing up for myself may be a tall order. I am thinking that it may be an issue for me as well, on trying to gain volume. I remember reading about The Rock, and he eats like 7 times a day, or something like that. I just know it’s a lot. I don’t want to bulk up like crazy, but not having a strong wind making me sway in the breeze sounds good to me.

Thanks bro, and to you as well.

I know for one you can do it!

I have done it myself. It will take a lot of hard work, but the payoff is awesome.

Go Mirror’s Edge in that bitch.

Except that you’re not a woman.
