In the United States, small businesses are struggling with costs while politicians are eager to pass laws that increase the cost of doing business—which often increases prices for consumers. Hillary Clinton is eager to force business owners to pay working women to leave work temporarily so they can have a baby. Whatever happened to the old fashioned way of doing things? Does anyone remember when women made the personal sacrifice to quit their jobs so they could be full time moms while their husbands worked? These days women are encouraged to have have it all and do it all without having a man in the house…’cause they’re “empowered.” They insist on being mothers when the’re too busy to take on that role in the first place. The motherhood of career women is replaced by daycare centers and any friend or relative she can throw her kids at while she works and goes to the club for ladies night. And the husband’s paycheck could be child support payments or replaced by government subsidies. Currently, women can take a 12 week (unpaid) leave of absence to take care of a newborn baby. But imagine if Hillary had her way: small companies will have to pay a stay-at-home mom her salary for several weeks while they simultaneously hire a temporary employee to fill her position. Do these politicians think that business owners can magically make money appear for these costs? If you really want to put them out of business—and increase unemployment—increase the minimum wage and force them to buy health insurance for all their employees. Large corporations may be able to absorb the costs of these “feel good” polices that Hillary & other politicians shout out to the public to win votes, but many small businesses cannot afford to. If politicians are serious about creating new jobs for Americans, they should do whatever it takes to help small business owners make a profit!
"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

They are not and they won’t. It is control they want, and independent small businesses are too hard to control. They want subjects, not citizens.
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
It’s funny because what they’re doing will create the gender wage gap that they are trying to fight and currently doesn’t exist. They are making women more expensive to hire, which means less people will want them (unless forced by law to take them on). Why not let men stay home with the newborn and get paid leave as well? Don’t fathers have as much right to create bonds with their children and not have to sacrifice their career?
I bathe in the tears of single moms.
This is not about business, men, work ….
As RD has stated …. CONTROL.
More likely real physical slavery of mind & body.
To do this you must first cripple the strongest and most likely to fight ……
Can you guess who that might be?
A very bad idea indeed. I can see women getting pregnant just to sock it to some poor man while she gets to take a vacation on her employer’s nickel. Women want their cake and eat it too. They want the children but don’t want to make the sacrifices and take on the necessary responsibilities that go with it. They wanna shuffle the financial and physical work onto somebody else whether it’s the dad, the grandparents, the system or whomever. These days women think that having children is a right and it’s not, it’s a privilege. This is indeed empowering to women, it empowers them over men and it empowers them over their employers. Yes, it is a terrible idea. All the more reason NOT to vote for Hilary.
Feminism isn't about equality with men, it's about leverage over men.
