Oxford teacher investigated for 'misgendering' to sue school

A teacher who faced disciplinary action after he referred to a transgender pupil as a girl is taking his school to an employment tribunal.
Joshua Sutcliffe, from Oxford, says he was investigated after he said “well done girls” to a group that included a student who identifies as a boy.
The 27-year-old Christian pastor is now suing the school for constructive dismissal and discrimination.

The secondary school previously said it would be “inappropriate” to comment.
Mr Sutcliffe, who teaches children aged between 11 and 18, said the incident took place on 2 November and he apologised after the pupil became angry.
He said a week-long investigation found he had “misgendered” the pupil and “contravened the school’s equality policy”.

Christian beliefs

Mr Sutcliffe claims the school has “systematically and maliciously” breached his rights and he had left his job as it had made it impossible for him to continue working there.
In a letter to the head teacher he wrote: “As a Christian, I do not share your belief in the ideology of transgenderism.
“I do not believe that young children should be encouraged to self-select a ‘gender’ which may be different from their biological sex.
“Or that everyone at school should adjust their behaviour to accommodate such a ‘transition’; or that people should be punished for lack of enthusiasm about it.”

The maths teacher, who is also a pastor at the Christ Revelation church in Oxford, said he tried to balance his beliefs with the need to treat the pupil sensitively.
He claimed he did this by avoiding the use of gender-specific pronouns and by referring to the pupil by name.
The state academy school where he was employed did not respond to requests for a comment. It had previously said the matter was confidential.

This is some wicked bulls~~~ that is going on these days. Gender is tied to biological sex and always has been. It’s the way its been throughout history. Male always meant male and female always meant female.

The mental gymnastics they use to justify the mental disorder is ridiculous. “Oh well, gender is just a man made construct” or “women can have penises too”.

Funny how they don’t want to be classified as one of these “man made” constructs but then they want to have a “sex change” operation to fit into the other “man made” gender.

Splitting your dick does not make you a woman. Being able to get pregnant and bear children is required. Reforming your clitoris into a tiny penis with surgery does not make you a man. Being able to produce sperm is required. And there is no counter for this. Yes, some people have birth defects or had accidents that prevent them from doing these things but that doesn’t change their DNA.

Yes some people have birth defects that make them XXY or similar. These aren’t new genders, these are people whose lineages will die off from not being able to reproduce. There are probably mutations of these that rarely allow reproduction but let’s be real here. Nature intends for humans to breed to perpetuate the species. It didn’t intend for people to mutilate themselves in ways that prevent this important function.

Transgender-ism is actually the man-made construct. No matter what gender you “choose’, if an archeologist dug up the bones of someone 20,000 years from now, scientific tests would quickly resolve whether the fossil belonged to a male or female. Regardless of whether they wore a dress or not, or how they labeled themselves. Science isn’t the least bit confused, and needs no construct. Only perverted social norms need that type of “construct” explanation.

How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being.
