This is a difficult one for me to accept because my Mom would never leave my Dad. They care about one another a lot and have stayed true to their commitment. I’ve seen my Mom work her entire life for the sake of the family. My Mom comes from a conservative religious background, was arranged with my Dad, had a super strict father growing up, etc, etc. I’m not sure that mix is even around any longer. It’s one of the reasons I kept jumping in to the fray. My Mom has slowly begun to realize this and has even stopped bugging me about marriage.
