Out of control debt ends badly

First of all, I would never condone violence to anyone, so what he did was obviously wrong.

I do think it’s worth thinking about the situation they got into. It seems they’d undertaken a number of lavish refurbishment projects, including “underfloor heating, granite worktops and top-of-the-range goods from The Bath Store to complete their dream home”. Also expensive holidays, handbags for her.

The guy kept taking out debt in secret, and crunch time came when his wife found out he’d taken a £54,000 loan in her name, and had forged her signature to do so.

I think we all know what happened here. I know a lot of us have been bullied into spending more and more, and sometimes spending beyond our means. I have been. I’m grateful that none of us got so desperate to take a woman’s life, or our own life (a more common outcome for men). I’m willing to bet the guy would have been happy without any of this s~~~ if only she would just shut the f~~~ up.

I think this is a warning to all blue pill lurkers. The blue pill programming is strong, but do not let things get out of hand like this. Better to leave her than ending up with someone dead.

You’d hope that a terrible story like this would prompt women to start thinking about whether they’re too f~~~ing greedy. But I know women better now: don’t expect any introspection, just expect more complaints.

Yes the manipulation and lies they tell to get you to upgrade the kitchen and bathroom, redo the basement, go on vacations you can’t afford. They really know how to bully you into those things often through the use of relational aggression/violence.

100% refused to combine accounts both marriages. It was bad enough to have to give up all my free time. Was not going to take on her debt. I paid part of the bills she paid the other. Hated the idea of joint taxes, but I relented and did that.
