I found this website and I just wanted to jump in. I’m 20 years old. Like most black men, I was raised by women and only women. For years, I’ve asked myself what does it mean to be a man? What is a man if not the sum of his part in between his legs? In my generation, with the rise of gender, sexuality, and feminism, I feel as if I am more puzzled by these questions more than ever. I feel the world is truly black and white, but people don’t like that and prefer to see it with their rose-tinted glasses instead. Men were once hunter and gather and women were caretakers and now I don’t know what is going on anymore. I feel I’m just lost.

Hey bro, I’m new here as well. Glad to be able to post. Don’t feel lost, You do you! When I stepped out of the game I felt like I could actually place my feet on solid f~~~ing ground.

It’s a bit of a crazy time we live in with the rise of gynocentrism, 3rd wave feminism and overall political correctness but don’t lose your passion for the interests and hobbies you do have. They cannot influence or effect you if you are strong.

I totally agree about the world seeing everything in black and white nowadays. Many people lack critical thinking and the ability to take in information without having it fed to them from some sort of biased source. Question authority.

True story-
I lived in England once. I went on a medieval pilgrimage trail to find the ruins of an old Benedictine Monastery. It was dark and cloudy. The trail went into the woods, over hills, and broke off in many directions. I got lost on the trail on the way back. Couldn’t remember where I was supposed to turn. It was getting late, the rain was coming in. I looked around and fear seized my heart. I hadn’t seen another soul for over an hour. I realized I had never passed a fallen tree. I stopped, laughed, and I continued on, knowing I hadn’t come that way. Fear left me. I eventually stepped out of the woods and found a beautiful mansion at the bottom of a valley. It was like an old palace. I took another trail that went back into the woods. The clouds were threatening storm. The wind picking up. I ran into an old man on the trail. I told him I was an American, and I was lost. He laughed and pointed me in the right direction. Sometimes getting lost is the best thing that can happen to you. When you feel lost, laugh and look for the old wise man who has been there and knows his way. Good luck to you young man. Walk your own path with a light heart- even if you feel lost.

welcome to the site, think the main thing about today is that a man has to decide what they want to be, how they want to live and then go for it. This to me is the reality, we can’t follow the heard, or follow a role model because you cant find them. Being a man is deciding what you want and ignoring most of what society is telling you to do. When you decide what you want you will be criticized for it, just ignore the criticism.
