It’s becoming obvious to me that men have to start avoiding marriage and/or common law relationships completely.  Keep everything as a simple dating arrangement.  Stay away from any form of commitment.  Never live in the same residence.  Use Cohabitation Agreements and Pre Nuptial Agreements sparingly.  Ensure the woman signs off on any plans for maternity in that she retains the entire responsibility from conception to age of maturity.  Don’t ever admit to paternity or have your name placed on a Birth Certificate.  Never submit to a DNA test unless ordered by the courts.

One of a dads bosses years ago came home to his son crying and a bunch of stuff gone. There was a note from his wife saying she was leaving and she took a bunch of stuff she said was hers. So naturally like all women she demanded majority of his money and to make the divorce end quickly for the sake of his kids she gave her a good chunk. She basically got most of his planned 401k from his job job at a major beer company. I don’t remember how much she ended up getting but it was a lot. An amount she clearly didn’t deserve and she could only work part time and easily be set for life. So with all this money and her now fond single life she starts dating a younger guy in his 20’s. I looked over the article.  It looks like he skipped the country to get out of making any support payments for a number of years.  A judge then confiscated all his assets in response to this.

It looks like it was punitive, to set an example.  It isn’t normal, but it does serve as a warning to men about what can happen about getting marrying.  But, if you do that, and just leave, all your assets will be taken.
