    Gentlemen

I have been advised of some interesting software for ComSec.

    These are:

    https://meet.jit.si/
    Secure browser-enabled video conferencing tool

    https://whispersystems.org/
Secure messaging and calling tool for mobile phones

    https://protonmail.com/
Secure e-mail (basic mail is free of charge)

    https://www.silentcircle.com/products-and-solutions/software/
    Secure calling for IOS/Android

This article describes the last two of the products

How about Morse Code by signal lamp?

    From the article:

There is one important caveat which you have to keep in mind: Both Protonmail and Silent Phone are truly secure only if BOTH people communicating are using them.

A shame, but a pretty obvious weakness. Your friend with the Gmail account that you just messaged is still perfectly hackable.

    Thanks for the links!

This is true no matter what e-mail is used. Both sides must use the same encryption or the secure service cannot work.
I think if the data you want to share is important enough then both parties may need to switch.

On the other hand if you send the information within the e-mail as an encrypted file and the recipient has a key then that should also work. The problem with this is anti-virus tools flag this kind of file as a possible virus and kill it.

You will have to stand on the roof of your house or apartment building with a lamp. Usually you will get arrested as a drug dealer or a nut. 🙂

Currently best app. Text, Voice and video. Of course encryption is end to end between signal users. Used by Snowden, so he has everyone up on his ass and uses this.

    https://whispersystems.org/

I have used this for over a year and have had no signal degradation and messages are reasonably prompt. Video can still be spotty.

For added security use a VPN to bounce your connection around. I use this https://nordvpn.com/
I rotate my vpn servers so it seems like I am traveling extensively.

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning; it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
