So I am curious as to what everyone’s take is on the whole thing going on with Bill Cosby right now. Are we dealing with women who were truly violated, or are we dealing with women who saw the opportunity to strike gold by getting knocked up by a celebrity and now that that didn’t work, are changing their story about what truly happened because they see dollar signs from lawsuits?

Unknowingly drugging anyone is wrong indeed – IF that’s what really happened, but, putting yourself in a position to be alone with a man you barely know is asking for trouble – maybe if you toned back your greed a little, you would have never been in that position in the first place.

Why is it yet again the women have zero responsibility here?

Robin Williams and Bill Cosby were two men out of the very few, that I looked up to as examples, while I was a boy.

I honestly don’t know, and have wondered the very thing regarding this thread.

    …and I still wonder…

Whenever I have felt this way about a woman, sooner or later, I find out why.

My gut wants to concur…but then there’s that “Nostalgia & Rose tinted glasses refute”

Sure does suck losing my role models…if the age we live in is civilized, I am glad I wasn’t born back in the days barbarism.

There seems to be a trend lately of older male stars being taken down on sex crime charges, Rolf Harris, Bill Cosby, Robert Hughes who was an Aussie actor, Stephan Collins who played the father on 7th Heaven and even Cliff Richard’s house was raided by the police. It seems as odd as all these men were known for a rather wholesome and almost bland/corny persona.

In most of these cases the crimes they were accused of committing happened a decade or more ago and when one victim breaks the silence the floodgate seems to open. That element does make me suspicious, the time it took to come forward, why not at the peak of these men’s popularity or would it have been too unbelievable back them?

I wasn’t a fan of any of these men so it’s not personal at all to me, it just seems odd that it is all coming out around the same time frame.

Here’s what I think about the whole Cosby thing:

Do they still make those Jello pudding pops?

    That is all.
