They claim she made “CP”, but as usual they weren’t specific about that. In Canada that doesn’t necessarily mean any nudity is involved. They could of been in swimwear for all we know.

They also weren’t specific about the ages involved in certain crimes. Some of that stuff was legal for decades and right up till recently. Suddenly it went from being tolerated to the worst thing ever, just because someone changed the law by a couple of years?

This is why, for all of its critical acclaim, I cannot abide Orange is the New Black. How many of you have tried watching that show? It’s not a bad idea at the starting gate – a bevvy of colourful characters in a women’s prison.

However, it really annoys me that nearly all of the inmates are inside for a reason that’s not of their own wrongdoing. Few of them, if any, have done anything truly ominous – they all seem to boast the kind of crimes that in reality would get them little more than house arrest (at worst). The creators seem to want to convince us that these women have simply been f~~~ed over by an inequitable system, and that’s why they’re behind bars.

I made it through just a few episodes, then said “DONE.” I cannot believe the front that they have, to try and tell us that these women are in the big house only because the law is harsher on women. For f~~~’s sake, getting into jail as a woman seems to be almost impossible these days. We in New Zealand recently saw that insane case where a sick bitch who molested her own son managed to sidestep a prison sentence. If not even a crime of that nature can get you hard time, then what the hell can? And that bleeding show is trying to tell us that if you’re a woman in a courtroom, you’re screwed?
