…And I’m worried. No, not because a lot of small businesses will likely have to close down, although that could be a problem, and I’d definitely feel bad for those MEN who would lose their livelihood either running or working for these small businesses, but because this’ll likely mean the Lie-berals will get re-elected and we’ll be in for another 4-year-long assf~~~ing. I mean, at least before the election we’ll get 14 bucks an hour up from 11.40 but I’m really not sure it’s worth all the BS we’ll have to put up with for another 4 years.

Honestly I would be more concerned about the economics effects. A sane business owner will not hire a snowflake for $15 for menial work. Libtards are absolute f~~~ing morons with no sense of economics. This will put a lot of small cap businesses under. Such a damn shame. Canada is such a cucked nation.

    So ….. like ….. $3 U.S?

(Just kidding). MGTOW Knight said it. Ontario has that ineffective lesbian Kathleen Wynne at the helm, and together with cuckstain Trudope, that’s a bigger problem. Minimum wage + a loonie covers one hour parking at the mall.

I take it they are not worried about unemployment? Or maybe they need to expand their welfare system to buy more votes?

Liberals literally have no economic sense. The number one expense that a business has is payroll. They want to be able to make the most amount of money possible without having to expend any more money than necessary. Let’s say for example, Burger King.

Burger King would usually pay their employees $7.50 p/hr. They have that in the budget, and can accompany that expense at the end of every month.

When you jack the pay up to $15.00 p/hr, Burger King now has to figure out where to get the extra money to pay these employees. So to keep up with the pay demand, they simply fire people until their bottom line breaks even. So the higher the minimum wage, the less jobs there will be. This could also be in the form of more expensive food, how does 15 dollars for a small double cheese burger sound?

Or most restaurants will move to electronic check outs.

    pic

These four machines just replaced four employees who could have otherwise had jobs, and save the business more money in the long run. These people clearly do not think.

It’s just a ploy by her to improve her very low approval rating and to hopefully win the upcoming election. I think it’s a pile of non-sense, but it’s very likely that she will win back some support with her handouts. The million dollar question is how much support will she win back? Only time will tell.

But let’s not stop there. If people at restaurant jobs are replaced by machines, then those people aren’t making money. So guess what they do, they run to the government to get assistance. The government is all too willing to lend a hand and keep lending forever. Because after all, it’s the mean, patriarchal, capitalist society that’s holding you down.

When people have jobs, and work their way up through the ranks of those jobs, they make money. People have to be smart about the decisions they make. The more money a person makes, or family makes, the more they can spend in stores, they can afford that home loan, car loan, buy that new boat, put their kids in a better school, save up for a kids college, invest, save, and take vacations.

THIS IS CALLED A STIMULATED ECONOMY!!
    Trickle Down economics always works.

    They have those in Japan.

I will never forget how mind-blowing it was to see how efficiently they run things in Japan. It was 1990s though, but From waste disposal, to trains schedules…. that is one well put together nation and the system they have is quite impressive. I would move there in a New York minute.

Worded differently, Ontario government f~~~s over low income earners by getting over half of them laid off.

Also, keep in mind, Japan had two atomic bombs dropped on them. They recovered and skyrocketed past the US. We could learn a thing from them.

And this is Trudeau’s country, he’s a globalist so I wouldn’t put it passed him to do this, so more people can end up on the government dole.

This is the same guy who sat on the floor looking up to Angela Merkel after all.

Now that they brought the bottom up,,,,

The next logical and EQUITABLE move gonna be bring the top DOWN!

WHERE’S THE LIMIT ON MAXIMUM WADGE? Why aren’t they trimming the top? Equality is all fine and dandy until it’s their equality that’s being taken away.

I can’t afford to eat out and we’re looking at incinerating our Vermont property to try and recoup our losses in a viral video (why burning your home down is the logical thing to do in such an illogical world), desperate times make desperate men do desperate things.

The look on everyone’s face in that thieving f~~~ whoever you can town will be truly PRICELESS as they live in thievery infamy!

People burning down brand new homes that no money is owed on? Welcome to the NEW America! Where fire is your ONLY friend!

Collapse is gonna be painful but why not have a little fun?

When will these libtards learn that more government doesn’t equate to better solutions? The government always f~~~s things up. The last necessary legislation that the U.S. Federal government passed was the Sarbanes Oxley Act, thanks in part to assholes executives at Enron. Most of the time, the government can stay the f~~~ out of economics!

Government needs to make sure “some” regulations are in place to protect consumers against fraud, and ponzi schemes. And prevent companies from cornering the market so their the only game in town.

    Other than that, g o v can go b y e.

LOL, yep. Pretty much accurate on both accounts ($3 US and MW+Loonie covers one hour parking)

Exactly, that’s what I was saying that I’m afraid of. Sure, 15 bucks an hour is nice but not enough to sell our souls to that dyke for. And as others have stated this will likely mean most people who work in menial jobs or those who run small businesses are f~~~ed.

Yet they force us all into the biggest ponzi scheme ever, social security. It always struck me that most of the dabbling the government does in our economy is just to pay back political donors.

And as others have stated this will likely mean most people who work in menial jobs or those who run small businesses are f~~~ed.

The people that really get f~~~ed are the middle class. We’ll end up supporting more people on welfare plus higher wages = higher prices for businesses that can’t automate or just make due with less employees, so we end up with more people leeching off us and with higher prices everywhere we go.

I doubt many employers are going to say “Minimum wage went up 30% so 30% raises across the board!”

Preaching to the choir on that one about social security. Social security assumes that the government can save my money better than I can myself.

But here’s where i agree with having it. Don’t shoot me.
If we didn’t have social security, how many people in the country would “really” save that money at the end of every month, every year, until their 65? The amount of people who will do right with that money are very few.

Most people get that extra money in their checks, instead of putting it up for a rainy day, their going to spend it. And when they turn 65, guess who is turning to the government for help because they have no savings.

Baby boomers are the problem here, because so many are retiring at one time, they are taking their money out of social security faster than the new generations can put more back in. So as they keep retiring, the money keeps leaving, and if this trend continues, we won’t have it when we get that age.

But for practical reasons, i do think the US government should provide social security because you can trust Americans to take care of themselves and make smart decisions. So i get your point, but without social security, we would end up paying even more tax dollars in government assistance in the form of health care, and regular living expenses.

It just means that Ontario companies are going to follow suit with american ones and start replacing people with kiosks, machines and robots. If you’re a $15/hr worker, you should start getting educated on how to repair and service these devices so you have a job when they take your job.

Well, fortunately I’m in a job that requires me to do a lot more than a machine in this day and age can.

oh cool 15 bucks an hour, still only half what the HR bitch at work makes and all she does is walk around desperately seeking male attention and starting drama where there is none, to justify her existence.
