They can’t put everyone in prison. They need people to actually produce stuff for them to take. The collapse will come quicker if they lock up even more productive members of society. They give you the illusion of “freedom” because it apparently makes people more productive when they think they’re free.

I read the article and could really grasp what problem they were trying to solve. All I got was ‘women are victims’ and ‘government needs to do something about that’.

As far as women being victims of abuse on the internet, there’s the freedom of speech problem to deal with and lack of any data saying that women are abused on the internet…somehow. From what I’ve seen women actually do the most bullying and such to each other.

The finances thing sounds so silly to me. In this day in age, the concept that marriage means a co-mingling of finances needs to be thrown out immediately. That would resolve so many issues immediately. Women would not need to fear a man controlling her money, and a man could easily stop a woman from spending all that he earns. Simple. Downside would be an immediate drop in marriage rates, but ‘downside’ is a relative term.
