I don’t have cable TV in my apartment. So when I took a vacation, I decided it would be relaxing to watch some TV for a few days. Well…it was more irritating than relaxing.

I’m convinced that 99% of TV shows were created for retarded people. I probably wouldn’t have come to this conclusion if I had been watching TV on a regular basis.

If you sit in front of this flickering box long enough, you’ll feel your intelligence slipping away with each daily dose of Judge Judy and Maury.

The few TV shows that I liked were about stuff I could LEARN from: home improvement projects and rebuilding old cars (Fast N’ Loud). There was also a college channel (the University of California) that featured some interesting people (poets, businessmen).

Then, when I found something interesting to watch, I had to sit trough 5 minute intervals of commercials. And every other commercial featured a smart, sophisticated woman outsmarting a man who’s a bumbling fool. How long are they going to play this game? It’s getting old. A lot of comedy shows have this same bias against men. They keep promoting female superiority over and over again as if that’s going to miraculously change what I see in real life: female inferiority to men in competitive situations and female submission to dominant men (by choice).

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

There is no magic in MGTOW, just recognition of the truth and logical decision how to avoid dangers. The red pill is but the truth, it is no magical potion. Do not think in this modern world men have no longer have natural enemies, men are prey to women and government.

Boy oh boy, ain’t that the truth!

Full disclosure: There are TV shows I watch, but it’s on DVD after a year’s delay. Never subscribed to cable, never will.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

TV is an orwellian tool, destroy that s~~~ with a hydraulic press or something man.

I came to accept that anything from the media, hollywood, TV, etc is just to make people dumb, docile and mellow to easy manipulate and control them. For me hollywood is the worst because it promotes self-hatred and degeneracy with the inclusion of celebrity worship.

If only people, rather than wasting their time with entertainment, focused more on their self worth and their education we wouldn’t even be in this situation with all the stupidity that’s rampant in this day and age.

Women buy the most products. Every thing on tv is designed to get you to buy the products in the comercial. Everything on tv is designed to please them. We now can clearly see womens attitudes toward Men.

“Television is a goddamn amusement park.”

That’s right. But my mind isn’t amused by most of it. I wish it was used more as a learning tool. PBS does a good job when it comes to shows about science. I’d be willing to watch more television if there were more learning channels.

I pretty much hate TV. It is the number one downfall to female productivity and the ultimate HIVE for them.

TV bugs me even more now that I went MGTOW. Almost every guy is represented as a white knight or a mangina. I have go back to the 60s to find any alpha males. Charles Bronson, Yul Brenner, Clint’s spaghetti westerns.

I do watch TV, but most of it is old. I don’t really like most of these new shows, or commercials, for the reason stated by FrostByte, men are too often portrayed as incompetent or perverted.

Back when I watched TV (and when I’m in a hotel room as you were), the only programs I ever enjoyed were the war & historical documentaries, Modern Marvels, How it’s Made, Dirty Jobs, and other such programs. The kind of shows you can actually learn a thing or two from.

I am starting to think that is closer to the truth these days.

After my trip to a mangina’s house last week with his wife – he is a bumbling fool who simps all over her(I know LOADS of men like that). Combined with threads on here about those blokes who degrade themselves for attention online from a girl….that is starting to look more and more like reality

From the Greek: “muse” = To Think
Placing an “a” in front a word denotes the opposite meaning.
So “amuse” = To Not Think

    I personally hate TV also

Don’t poison your mind with entertainment intended to cater to the most petty and shallow segments of the population.

You clearly feel a calling to rise above. So, answer it.
