You did all you could. Follow through, be a good best man and let him go. He’s gonna need you soon and the best man you are.

    Peace is > piece.

I always suggest that he go to a family court and just sit, watch, and listen. Then, if he still wants to tie the noose around his neck…fine.

Another one bites the dust eh…. What really gets me scratching my head is decent looking dudes that marry fat girls, cause you know they will just explode after marriage

Yet many guys are fully aware of what happens to other guys. They, for some reason, just don’t think that it will ever happen to them.

I’m not sure what can be done with that sort of attitude other than letting them find out for themselves that they were wrong…

The best advice you can give your friend…..but I doubt he will go. Tbh I probably wouldn’t have when I first got married.

Sadly even if she earns more money than him, if they have kids and she stops work….he is going to pay for everything. The only way he could mitigate things would be to make sure she buys everything, pays for everything and they never have kids – and he squirrels away his money/assets using an offshore company like most of the politicians, bankers and footballers do in this country. Sadly that’s only worthwhile if he has alot. It also won’t save him from prison if she accuses him of harm or the bailiffs (or prison in the US) if he can’t afford the alimony payments.

The other option is for him to give up work, have no assets and live off her. That way (in the UK), he could get half of what she has…but I wouldn’t advocate that, you are just perpetuating a f**ked up system.

    D. G. I. Don't. Get. Involved. (Be happy, and stress not)
