My short-term experience on Facebook was scary. Too many people meddling around in my page and contents. Besides teachers and employers go on Facebook to snoop around for anything they can use to expel you, fire you or not give you a job offer. Facebook is scary and it could ruin your whole life if used incorrectly.

I just might quit fakebook these days. I had to install third party software to kill off most of the nonsense I see on my dashboard. Things like “your friend liked this picture. LOOK AT IT! SEE HOW INTERESTING THIS TOTAL STRANGER IS!”

I’m currently on facebook because of short news stories, news about my football club, obscure black metal and a handful of funny pages, that’s it.

Working on two years with out a Facebook page and have never felt so good about it. I actually have more friends now that I had in almost a decade of Facebook.

The best part, my anxiety went way down and my productivity went up.

To everyone I suggest delete Facebook and never look back.

I have an account and use it to keep contact with old freinds and contact with people who share interests in some of my hobbies.

Other than that its FILLED with narcissistic women. They love to take pictures of themselves and look for approval and attention.

Studies have shown that using social media can make people depressed because it leaves others feeling left out of activities “friends” are engaging in.
