Once a Poet now a MGTOW

Hello everyone, I’d like to share my story with you.

I’m a 20 years old college student, I study English Language and Literature but fyi English is my “second” language. Anyways, I was always that guy who waited for the ONE. My love for poetry has begun with a girl when I was 17. To be honest I always thought that the perfect girl would come along, first I thought it would be in high school then I thought it would be in college but I was always wrong. They were always the same. I had a big issue of oneitis for years but I got rid of it a year and a half ago when I met the redpill theory and mgtow forum.I have 6 sisters and no brothers which is funny now that I know the truth I can even see their bulls~~~. ALL OF THEM.

Anyways all my life I was obssesed with finding the one, I was the poet who talked about love and women, praising them very well tbh after a while I started using women just to write very good poems because it was attracting more readers and that was it for me. But now I don’t even bother for that, I simply put them down or up I do whatever pleases ME not them.

So a year and a half ago after I was friendzoned by a girl which I thought would never happen, that was it for me, that was eye opening because in my country women are very hypergamic they grow up in hopes of marrying and finding the perfect husband but even though I had oneitis I never gave them that power and I would always put it in their faces, I would even split first dates etc. so after a while I realized it’s not worth it. I realized no girl would ever love me no matter how good I look or how good of an author I am. In their minds it doesn’t worth anything, it worths something only when marriage is around. I was never the guy to fool around, I’m always in the gym or improving myself at home, I have learnt English and tried to master it so can get away from this goddamned country. But if a woman is going to appreciate and realize all my effort when I “attain” success and money but ignore me at the times when I was working through that goal, no thanks I would rather die alone too.

Now I don’t know how this sounds to you but this isn’t sour grapes and I couldn’t care less. But there was always anger in my mind when I thought about these issues but ironically now I have zero anger, because back then I was caring and I was working in the gym, writing poems and I was getting nothing in return, after going Mgtow, this october I went to Italy and met a girl who fell for me for the first time in my life, I was actually out there impressing a girl, I would tease her and I was able to pass her s~~~ tests, after all those angry years I wasn’t angry anymore and I realize AWALT. Yes my oneitis days were over after meeting that girl but now I just don’t care about women in general because I know that if they want a relationship it should always be in their favor and I’m not buying that. No I’m not buying them a ring either. I also like “nice things” so let them buy “me” into marriage if they really want to, haha.

So thanks if you read the whole thing. I’m happy to be here with all of you. I know I have a lot to learn and improve and that’s why I’m here for.

The beauty of mgtow is it consolidates the effort, the gains, and the peace of mind. You make the efforts for yourself, for your gains, and for your own enjoyment.

You become the prized possession to be had.

You sure picked the right second language for poetry, English is the language of poetry. Personally I studied Spanish for a 2nd language, the language of song.

Merhaba.

I was like you back in the day waiting for the one until I realized it was all an illusion, and the more feelings I had for a c~~~ the worse things became. It’s better to treat them like s~~~ and dispose of them as they were intended. The instant a woman knows you have a soft spot for her, she will do everything in her power to control or manipulate the relations~~~. The last c~~~ I thought was the ‘one’ ruined her life through alcohol and partying. She simply did not listen to my advice. Last I heard of her she converted to Catholicism to make up for her stupidity but she has not yet fully tackled her drinking problem.

I’m an English teacher and poetry happens to be my passion. Congratulations on reaching the first stages of enlightenment! Don’t let the red pill ruin your love of poetry, even if most poetry is about love! Remember: it’s FICTION. I love Star Wars, but I don’t believe in lightsabers or the force. I also love me some good love poetry, but I don’t believe in love, or at the very least, it’s super rare.

Also, the best poetry is usually NOT about love. I recommend Lycidas (John Milton, maybe a bit advanced for your level) and Ozymandias (Percy Bysshe Shelley).

Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.

A very nice intro. I like it. Maybe you only write about love now because of your age. I tend to see poetry become more grounded and deep once the poet gets older.

Savior, I know how you feel mate, I just joined up myself, for a long time I thought “well if I could just find a girl that is X then Y could happen.” As you can tell I’ve pretty much flown the coop on that story,

This is exactly the mindset that I have now, I still write poems about love but now it’s all about writing the best poem and not to please women. Actually I could even talk more about how my view changed about love but that’s another subject. Because I rejected love even before meeting the redpill. And John Milton, yes we just started studying his peoms this semester “When I Consider How My Light is Spent” that one particularly strikes me in the heart. Thanks for the advice.

For that I’m thinking about writing a novel and starting a blog in my own language and hopefully make more men aware, thanks for the advice.

Welcome brother I dated a Turkish woman here in Canada for 7 years I know exactly what you experienced. AWALT no matter where they are from though but the great thing is you are still very young and have the entire world ahead of you. Great story look forward to reading more from you in the future as I have seen you already post in other threads as well.
