On Gynocentric MGTOW Burnout Syndrome (GMBS)

I am now looking at my life, and resets going on and getting a normal life, at least, if not more. I am seeing my reaction to the normal MGTOW YouTube content by the likes of Sandman, etc… with this, I also think of the disappearing MGTOW YouTube channels. I think about things and end up wondering what is going on. I figured I would label it, and have it called Gyoncentric MGTOW Burnout Syndrome.

I would say the normal MGTOW videos on the nature of women are useful, and part of the MGTOW process. It is useful to decide to go MGTOW about realizing you just don’t get along with the nature of women in your life. There is also the marriage, but I would say a bunch of MGTOW is also that, as a MGTOW, you realize you can’t being in relationships with women long-term, because it is a bit like a Star Trek episode I recall, where the being connected with a woman ends up just being harmful. I know there is debate over NAWALT, etc… and some MGTOW want to to liberate all men from women as a purpose. What I do know can be agreed to, is that for an individual MGTOW, the women don’t fit with him today, for whatever reason.

Now back to GMBS. Think a minute of anything you may not like, and just doesn’t fit with you. If you repeatedly focus on that subject, you are going to burnout from it. Even favorite things in your life, focused to an excess, is going to get tiring, but I would say focusing on a range of things that fit your life and you want to grow into, you will still focus on, and get empowered by. But I see what will happen if you repeatedly focus on the nature of women content, you eventually are going to burnout from it. And I believe that is what happened with a number of YouTube channels. There was just burnout. They hit a spot either where they had to come to peace with liking women, and making peace (thus the content doesn’t fit their thoughts), or it DOESN’T fit and it is just tiring.

As for the “Gynocentric MGTOW” part of the name, I had seen that as a label for such content, because it is focused on women. Eventhough the produce of such content is avoiding women, the content is focused on women.

I do see that some see a greater mission of liberation of all men, so there is some change, but the content itself, due to incompatibility, I can see has a Kryptonite effect on a MGTOW of such material. It is useful in limited dosages, but it will lead to burnout eventually.

Thanks. For myself, I do go a bit more egalitarian, and in my life, will strip a woman of her female identity when relating to her in most things, basing my interacting on value derived. There is the physical attraction side, which is an exception, but this is done by me to maximize the personal utility I get out of interactions with others, and also ends up providing no fodder for the SJW camp, because I give their side no oxygen to their arguments. It is ultimately self-serving and doesn’t benefit “the cause”. But I view MGTOW as the cause being my own anyhow. For myself, outside of the physical attraction side, I find it hard to really find much I connect with women mostly anyhow. They don’t share my interests for the most part.

What I was saying is that, if you are looking to go your own way, and not have women in it, because the women just don’t work with your life, to repeatedly focus on women is going to result in burnout.

Then again here, one can ask if MGTOW is about fixating on the nature of women, so you have reasons to avoid them, or about an identity unto itself, which doesn’t involve women at all, and is about your own self. I see the former will end up having limits to exposure, while the later will end up having greater longevity.

What I saw KM once said about MGTOW is that it is a like a stopping point where you visit sometime, and then go off to other areas.

Burnout is a possibility with anything you put a large amount of effort into. I’m coming to grips with a hobby I have put endless hours into, and I reached my peak at it 3 years ago. Now when I go and attempt to do it now, there is just zero interest. Much like red pill rage, a lot of guys get tired of warning others and just want to enjoy their life, good for them. New guys coming in to MGTOW need to take their turn at the wheel so to speak, and the veterans can slowly fade away and do other things that interest them. Nothing any good lasts forever, that’s how you know it was good. Someday these forums will be empty and defunct, but not anytime soon. Burning out on anything always leads to something else. I just enjoy my time here and learn what there is to learn, and lend a hand when I can.

Life is too long to play by someone elses rules....

I actually had been away for awhile, due to inability to really post here. I managed to get a laptop and was looking to get some YouTube videos going again, so I figured I would post this topic and see how it goes. I am weeks away from doing more videos, and trying to get sorted with things. My life is free of women (minus some internet connections, if that), but I still face the same issues going forward.

I get your point. And I take breaks from the mgtowsphere too. Sometimes when I find myself getting down, or feeling blue, or lonely, I will come here to remind myself “I REALLY DON”T WANT ONE OF THESE HORRIBLE THINGS IN MY LIFE”

If i came here on one of those days and all the posts were about libertarianism, fly fishing and working out, I would have to go looking for a real mgtow forum.

Really our way as it diverges from the gynocentric norm is what mgtow is. it really is defined by a negative.

For me, I am walking the life, and doing it. I am not even out dating. I am trying to manage the single life. It is in a need of more than just the “I don’t want X in my life” but more like, “How do I manage without X in my life, and live life here and deal with issues?”. For myself, the avoiding women is pretty easy, in that, whenever I try to do a date, I get bored to tears and wish I were elsewhere. I just find that avoidance doesn’t help me remain anywhere, it just can then lead to playing with fire and the case of “How close can I get to a woman and not get burned?” I see this with the case where sexbots, prostitutes, artificial wombs and so on, as in looking for end around, when a guy really wants a woman without the headaches, even to marry, but just can’t find it. I would say it better to have strong reasons that block out the whole having a woman, and also ways to manage the shortcomings, than to just focus on pain avoidance of all the horrible things with women.

Well I will continue to “rage on” as long as I see men who built this damn world taken advantage of and underappreciated for their contributions to society. Its like being locked out of a house that you built! The problem men have had that got us into this mess is the inability to rage on,soon as we stopped we gave women the right to vote,governMAN aide,free healthcare,jobs,child custody,yes means no,etc,whats is the thanks we get? We’re called rapist,creeps,man-child,losers,patriarchal, and deadbeat fathers. No more turning the knob down due to mental fatigue,as long as men suffer I RAGE!!

I would take this lack of appreciation as a reason why a man would go MGTOW. The world only appreciates what you do for it NOW. If you go off a number of years, they don’t. It is what is done personally, so I bargain for it. I don’t understand why, just because a man is a man, he gets kudos for that. Individual men do get kudos actually. It is just men collectively, who don’t. Actually, I don’t think men normally see themselves collectively as anything, unless it is by some sort of other attribute. That is why I believe MRAs are doomed to fail. The want men to unite and gain things collective, the way feminists are trying to do for all whole hold a female identity.

And the SJW side gets points by playing the victim card. Feminists do the same, and the all are getting blowback by more and more. I am doing MGTOW, getting my life in order and letting the rest do all that fighting.
