I know a married couple, the woman I’ve been friends with in childhood and see her occasionally. When she met her husband, she said he was totally not her type. She normally goes for the muscular type/jock that have short tempers. This guy was dweeby nerdy and he was her roommate. She would trash on him so hard and then one day, she started going out with him. Then eventually married him. He began to work out hard and became muscular but didn’t have that same jock mentality, still dweeby and silent. She had 2 kids with him (she had 1 kid from a previous relationship) so they were 5. I would visit every so often but every time I would drink with her, she would STILL bash on her husband like “oh if he ever did me wrong I would leave him in a heartbeat no questions asked” “hes such a bitch” after she got breast implants on HIS dime and she is a housewife in nice house because of him and his family. She hangs out with skanks and is ‘besties’ with queen of skank who is raunchy as hell. I can’t help but feel bad for this guy that he got caught up with her. At the same time it’s no secret that she bashes on him and he kind of just laughs it off or goes to the other room(which he does quite often)I didn’t realize she was like this until I was an adult. She has abandonment issues with her dad so she kind of always had a boyfriend growing up. I’m worried that all women are like this. ..
