Welcome Santiago,
Your story resonated with me. I recognise an element of myself in your story. As another poster mentioned we were ‘all’ raised thinking we needed to marry. View your life as lessons learned rather than beating your self up. Forgive yourself for percieved mistakes. Nurture self esteem. It is a long life ahead. There is time.Intellectually, I see all this, and know what’s going on. I’ve let myself be claimed, and don’t “feel” I have a claim to myself, or to happiness if my family isn’t happy first. The other side of my brain knows this is B.S.
Being here on the site amongst MGTOW will help in starting to strengthen self esteem and feeling guilt free in claiming your OWN happiness and life. I myself have along way to go on that journey but being here helps.
Words thats helped me from another MGTOW (Ghan-buri-ghan) was
“Being selfish is for men with courage.
Take charge of your situation and start living.”
Taking charge of your life and health will not only help you but your family too.The Manipulated Man speaks truth on foods – the good news is the body is an incredible machine – give it healthy nutrition and you can achieve your goals. Train on a stationary bike, go swimming, walk in nature. I am also a cyclist. I include fruit in morning, porridge, probiotics, veg/spinach smoothies, mung dahl and spinach, lightly steamed or raw broccoli, maca, triphala to detox. You could consider an ayurvedic consultation for nutrition – it helped me with my health.

The Manipulated Man speaks truth on foods….
Don’t get me started on foods. LOL.
Learning about Enzymes and using them is a powerful tool for your health.
No, enzymes are not the same as “Pro-Biotics” which are sometimes needed because of the antibiotics which kill off the healthy flora in your gut.Yes, we need Enzyme products because most of the so called “Food” we put into our mouths are really “dead” and do not have the natural enzymes that our grandfathers enjoyed.
About fifteen years ago, I helped my Dad and others avoid Diabetes with the following Digestive Enzymes that are sold in the stores:
However, the Digest Gold, which are the best of the Digestive Enzyme products, mostly stay in the gut and do not get into the blood stream to repair the rest of the body like Systemic Enzymes.
The best Systemic Enzymes that actually work are about $100 for a months supply. The Systemic Enzyme technology for was actually developed in Germany and Japan.
Here is link for a downloadable lecture that talks about these Systemic Enzymes and why we need them these days:

Here is a link for the web page for the Systemic Enzymes that work the best:

Note: These Systemic Enzymes from Dr. Wong have help my brother lose a lot of weight and have also helped reduce the recovery time from my fierce workouts.
What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
Welcome, Santiago.
You’ve found a place where us men can talk freely about… anything. There’s a ton of wisdom on these boards.
Your situation is probably more common than you think. This is your opportunity to recreate yourself. I know I did and it changed me dramatically.

"You know it's too late for that."Welcome Santiago
Save up 600 bucks and buy a kicker snap. Get on Zwift and ride that bitch bike. I have a 32 inch monitor that I run off my iPad. You ride different geographical areas, group rides, solo. It’s still a trainer, ut it will get you back in riding shape.
Get a fan to blow on you. Put a towel over the top frame rail and head unit to keep salt off.
You can do this. Motiviation is there, You just need to do it. Burn off the fat and get the cadence up.
I have many female riders who do not know my last name or where I live. I treat them like excrement and they love it
skip the cavernous vag and go your own way
I have considered Zwift, and with my Alien already hooked up to the TV, it’s pretty close to ready for it, once I have a smart enough trainer. I’m looking for something a little cheaper than that, but I am pretty familiar with false economy, so I do need to find something that’ll hold up and last a while.
It’s an excellent idea, and about as much as my WoW account, which I don’t use much anymore anyway. As for the fan and sweat rag, yeah… I have a bunch of miles behind me (waaaay behind me, I’ll admit) and have a sweat catcher and a fan, though I may spring for a bigger fan at some point.I hear that you can rig a cadence and speed sensor to your bike and still use Zwift, even without a smart trainer. You just don’t get the feedback that’s possible with them. I might do that, while saving up for a better trainer. First… gotta tackle the pile of stuff on the floor.
I plan to finish clearing up some floor space, and set up the bike facing the TV, so I can run some nice cycling scenery vids while pedaling. My biggest problem with exercise bikes is the lack of scenery (though, at the gym, some of the scenery can be quite good 🙂 )
All the rage with smart trainers these days is the interactive scenery, or virtual riding terrain. Zwift is one of the popular ones at present, but the scenery looks more like a computer game or simulation.
There are other smart trainer apps out that have video footage of stunning terrain from around the world, and playback speed is determined by the rider, and resistance applied for hill climbing.
Pretty keen on this setup over winter, but keep active through outdoor pursuits so not an essential for me.
ps Welcome Satiago, beers in the fridge.

That’s where’ I’m at, just waiting on prices to stabalize a bit. Early adapters pay heaps more. And if you can get the time to ride outside, it’s free and a better alternative anyway.

Just ride that bitch bike is great advice!

Outside is good, in fact I prefer it by far. Unfortunately, in my current condition and the location (chosen by you-know-who) is FAR from bicycle friendly. When I was in great shape, this didn’t matter so much, but now…
I have a ‘dumb’ TACX trainer for now, and there are quite a few ‘just riding’ videos on YT to get me started. As I go, I’ll work out a better setup, deciding on whether and what sim I might try, and which trainer would be best for me. For now, though, the challenge will be getting started, and getting my ass used to the saddle again.Hard to believe that I did the Hotter ‘n Hell hundred in 5 hours, once upon a time.

Yes (as TMM states) enzymes will help. I also take enzyme products and foods that contain enzymes including Kefir, Pineapple, Papaya, Banana, ‘Raw’ Honey, Sauerkraut. You should notice a difference. Cumin seeds soaked in boiling water/tea flask overnight and sip the water next day helps digestion/weight loss. Tumeric is good for your body as an anti-oxidant.

Welcome, Santiago. Honored to have you here. Well written and moving introduction.
Consider brisk walking in lieu of biking for now. You would be surprised at the amount of calories burned with a 20-30 min brisk walk. Also, watch “What The Health.” for a disturbing documentary on the food / healthcare industry.
I look forward to more of your story.
When women lead, destruction is the destination. -- Me.
Looking around, wondering how to get rid of all this stuff. Some will be easy, some not so much.
Guns sell quick, and I can get market value for them. Some of my quadcopters are commercial models, and while I won’t get anywhere near retail, they can still add to my grubstake. The stuff I built…. probably just need to take those and the spare parts to the Civil Air Patrol squadron (I used to be their Aerospace Education officer, until I got overrun by female officers and their agendas, wrecking the UAV/space program I was setting up) and maybe even claim it all on my taxes.Books, I have a bunch of ’em, I can just haul down to the used bookstore after cherrypicking a handful of favorites. Anything they don’t want to buy can go on the “free” pile.
Cameras, I’m an amateur photographer, with a lot of gear… including film. I don’t know. Smart thing would be to pare down to a primary/spare body, some lenses and accessories, then sell the rest off. That way, if I need a little income at some point, I can still do an event photo booth or the like (made about $300 in 4 hours at a poorly attended function once). Film cameras can be a challenge to sell for a decent price, though, in my area. I could hit up one of the big resellers and just take the hit, walk away with a couple hundred bucks anyway.
Computers… Sell the desktops and monitors. Won’t get much for ’em, but again, a couple hundred bucks in the kitty. Two notebooks and a tablet will be more than enough to let me work my day job from wherever I am.
Bicycles… I have a few, though I could easily sell the Tandem, Surly, and Montague. All the others are either parts bikes at the moment, or Jake… which I won’t give up for nuthin’. That’s the bike that carried me through the good times I described in my original post. I might be able to get $1500 or so out of the others.
I have a paid-off HHR, which can be a little uncomfortable over the last couple years (arthritis) and an ’04 Z71 Suburban that I owe about $5000 on. With a little work, I might be able to get between 2-3000 out of the HHR. If I sell the Burb, may be able to get $1000 over what I owe, give or take. The thing is… it’ll tow a camper, the HHR won’t. Fuel economy is the only real disadvantage for me with that one.
Clothing is simple. I have maybe 1/10 of the shared closet space, a pair of boots, a pair of slippers, and a pair of shoes.
Between that, a couple cameras and a handful of books, I could walk away with a duffle bag’s worth of stuff. This isn’t a solid plan right now. I just wanted to get it in words, in front of me and other like minded men (funny using that word, after so many years of trying to be gender-nonspecific) to get the brain juices flowing. It felt good to shuck it all before, when I pared it down to a vanload and bailed. I’m pretty sure I can do a better job of it with some thought.
…then there’s my daughter. That’s the tough part. This all may be mental masturbation until she’s old enough to be more independent.
Either way, it would be a good idea to start paring down, if slowly, my pile of crap.
Ride my bike trainer, walk a bit (that’s mentally tougher than I thought it would be), figure out where to keep the proceeds of my sales, or convert them into something soluble enough.
Too bad I didn’t do this the first time I thought of it, back when gold was a couple hundred bucks an ounce. I can check the markets, maybe pick up some silver, copper, etc. I dunno… I guess that’s a whole other conversation right there. I thought about Bitcoin when it was selling for next to nothing, too. 😀Anyway, again, just shaking the grey matter around some.
Anyway… Hi! Glad to have found this group… and please be gentle. I don’t know where on the scale of “pathetic” I fall compared to others here, but I figure that, to myself… it’s pretty bad.
You’re better than the average idiot who stays in Blue Pill La La Land.
Find a way to honor yourself & live off your last best decision, then good choices will accumulate & suddenly you will find yourself self in a whole new space.
Thanks for posting.
This can be your new beginning.

You are not alone

MGTOW is real FREEDOMJohnny Zero is correct as this can be a new beginning for you. Read, post and learn all you can on here and watch Mgtow related content on Youtube. I’d recommend Turd Flinging Monkey, Barbarossa, or Sandman. There is a whole bunch more Mgtow creators I haven’t mentioned that you can find on this website. Just click on sections and then channels. Welcome aboard!
Don't be a "provider" unless you are providing for yourself.
Welcome. No one is here to judge you. We do have the odd tuna hunt but you should not worry about that. Your story feels ok.
Post whatever you like. The great thing about no females is we can be who we really are.
Anonymous12Damn, Dude.
You have mastered a pretty difficult skill – you are able to look yourself in the mirror and tell the Man you see that he is one Big disappointment.
And you know the way to a better You.
And you have the tools all set up.Santiago…
as, long as you keep your mind bright and sharp as it is now, you are on the right track.
Thank you for this inspiring introduction.Welcome.
Damn!my fitness level was, I believe, one of the primary reasons for my earlier state of happiness. I lived for myself
BINGO
As for my current situation, I don’t know when it’ll come to a head, but if we have another ‘discussion’ like before, and she brings up the idea of a split (it worked before for her!) I’ll just nod and start packing. I want it to be ‘her idea’.
In the meantime, I need to sell off some of this junk I’ve accumulated, pedal off some of this weight, and do some research on affordable living that doesn’t involve living in the Projects.Maybe a nice camper.
Before you leave see a lawyer. If she has made more than you and you stayed home for a bit – you will walk away with some of her cash! You get half and maybe you can stick her with alimony! Beat them at their game. Don’t be too proud to do this. She would take you to the cleaners if the shoe were on the other foot.
Get back in shape and start living again. Put yourself first for a change. Society tells us to be sperm donor, fix it man and door mat. Break the cycle.
Welcome and great intro. – Look forward to hearing about your new lease on life.
Anonymous38Welcome mate. Get back out on your bike.
Anonymous12MARRY the damn Bike.
