October 1 Mass Shooting in Las Vegas

“Several” people have been rushed to local hospitals following a shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival at Mandalay Bay hotel and casino on the Las Vegas strip.

While the news is not providing much information currently, early reports from people on the ground suggest this may be a coordinated attack by a terrorist group.

A fully automatic weapon was fired from a high floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel across the street from the concert. Two confirmed dead, two more reported dead, more than 24 others injured. Reports of multiple shooters and shooters at other locations are still being investigated.

Police say one suspect is down. A media briefing will be conducted shortly.

One thing is for sure, you can bet the left will call for more gun restrictions, having zero awareness that fully automatic weapons are already restricted.

The latest word is 20 dead, over 100 injured. Reports of shootings/bombs/hostage taking in other locations on the strip untrue.

One suspect killed (hope he’s more than just a suspect) and believed to be Las Vegas resident.

To me, it seems like someone who has gone off the rails. This being a country music concert, it could be someone who hates white people. There is some racial tension in the country now, and this seems more likely to me than radical Islamic terror. Just my two cents,we shall see when they release the assailant’s name.

It was, based on the sound, clearly a fully automatic rifle and a single shooter… who took forever to reload between the first and second magazines, I might add… so probably not an individual with any significant, recent combat experience.

Motive? I’m going to go with “Trump Derangement Syndrome” with a heaping side order of “hates white people” due to the nature of the event that was fired upon. The Life Is Beautiful event was held downtown just last week… opening fire on a country & western event says something particular… while shooting up a bunch of drug addicted millennial losers would have made a very different statement.

No, nothing good about this. I get the idea that it’s potentionally a hard lesson learned, but we are much better off with people figure things out with less loss of life. Besides, I doubt there are many that stop and reconsider reality, but prefer to just shout the same nonesense a little louder.
