I’ll just leave this here. And let you all rip into it. Now obviously, this guy was guilty. Obviously, I agree with a prison sentence. But LIFE? That’s a bit out there, and over the top. We’ve seen women get off the hook for murdering their husbands with just as much evidence, or have a light sentencing. We’ve seen women murder their kids, and get away with it, even after there’s enough evidence without a doubt. Double standard.

I guess that young fighter has a bit of a bad temper and since he’s got the fighting skills..-> it must scare the s~~~ out of her!! She obviously knew not to ever cheat on him. Now it sounds like that they both got a sentence! She might have known her fate if she ever did something like this and he found out! Some men never forgive such a thing!

Appearing before the court Monday, a tearful Mack said that she did not know how long of a sentence would make things “feel right,” but that no amount will stop her from fearing for her life.

“I don’t know if my life will feel complete in 12 years or 30 years and neither do you, but I do know when he gets out he will kill me,” Mack said.

Sounds a bit like he’s locked up cause of her feels. Least that is the impression from the article.

Have an idea, drop them in a ring and let them fight it out. This in no way endorses violence, but is more like a trial by combat scenario. Which was at one time an acceptable method of determining innocence.

Makes me wonder though, would sentence be lighter if she had died from the beating?

That was a little excessive. Of course, the judge is a c~~~. I’ve an acquaintance who served 15 years for beating his girlfriend with an ax handle. She was cheating on him, but he was a Chad who cheated on her too. Prison made him swear off women permanently.

Women feel safe with violent men though such is the paradox of the hamster wheel.

The western world IS a joke. It is corrupt, morally bankrupt, decadent, suicidal, has turned its back on its own principles, and is well on its way to collapsing entirely.

This sentencing is dangerous because now men will use logic. I can kill the bitch and take my chances thay way. Can claim self defense, claim she ran off and hide the body, etc. Dead women tell no tales. If you get caught, the sentence is the same. Yes. Very dangerous sentencing indeed.

He was convicted of over eight charges. All serious.

This is the kind of guy where if he found you banging his ex-girlfriend that he was obsessed with (they were not married), he would just kill you, then f~~~ her on top of your dead body and have no remorse.

I remember when this happened a few years ago.

uchibenkei is right about a MMA’s hands being lethal weapons. Had a buddy who was an amateur fighter and he would never go out to bars because dudes would always want to fight. He said even if he would win, he could pick up a felony assault charge.

I also remember the story about Christie Mack a few years ago. Not a single woman, tradcon, feminist, etc. came out to defend this woman after she was raped and beaten.
