Well, it happened. My peace and serenity has been destroyed.

My Sr manager retired. Been a long run and he made a fine shield.

First thing the replacement did was to break up my mentor group and send me to purchasing group to help them with technical support.

Group is mostly women. Lady next to me is a perfume whore. Some kind of scented lotion that smells like soap. Actually it permeates the air and I end up swallowing it until my throat burns.

Thank God for noise canceling head phones and heavy metal music.

Everyone is doing the fake nice thing.

Well, got to go, going to garggle with steel wool and see if I can scrape the soap residue away, again.

Sorry to hear that Darksith, sucks when you feel like you’re working in chimney chocking on those toxic chemicals made from who know what? Life at Union Carbide (India) back in 80’s was easier to breath!

Yes, I figured it was only fair since I dish it out.

The guys I mentored met me for lunch and had a good laugh as well. A few thought I wouldn’t be able to filter myself. They have only known me under the cone of male silence.

But, as I preach, you must know your audience.

A part of me wonders if this isn’t a s~~~ test to see if the old guy will quit. Corporations are cruel task masters. Always have a strategy for us.

Sometimes I have to bury my face into my f~~~ing armpit and use it as a makeshift gas mask when walking by one of these perfume toxic mobile plants.

And God help you if you get stuck in an elevator with one.

I thought the same thing. I wonder if it’s covering up menstrual odor. Whatever it is its working.
