Just because money is pledged for it, doesn’t mean what is rebuilt will be or look the same.

The level of skill and craftsmanship required to build something on that scale is something that few people ever obtain. And if they try to substitute in concrete instead of stone it would be similar but not last the same.

Odds are it will be rebuilt as a mosque, cause well inclusion of everyone. Anyway christianity is just so regressive.

Gotta agree with Carnage for a minute on this one. If we are too stupid to learn from our history may as well let it burn and write it again. Much easier to rebuild with today’s technology. The wood is the hard part. Cant recreate the old timbers but I am sure they will rebuild something. The building did teach us a lot of architecture items… at least from what my history class and art classes taught me

I say hire the ones on welfare and assistance, to give them jobs, to rebuild….
