This Twitter movement was started by goofb~~~~ from 4chan. They made the whole thing up as a joke but feminists have fallen for it.

They also fell for the whole “p~~~ for equality” thing that was also a 4chan hoax.

These feminists are gullible as f~~~. Make up the most ridiculous parody of feminism on Twitter and the feminists will mistake it for the real thing. Try it!

Protip: The 4channers are currently trying to create a movement of feminists who don’t shower. It’s called #NoEqualityNoShower. This might create some epic lulz.

I can well see this as a 4chan thing but look at how many supporters there are, and their hateful comments? No, no matter who started this it has tapped into something that has underlain feminism for a long time.

There’s a funny SMBC comic where a man sits in front of his monitor thinking something like, “this is the greatest challenge of our age, I must choose my hashtag carefully…” That’s what we have here. A hateful undercurrent of feminism, a feminism that honestly wants to eradicate the male of the species. All they needed to rear their ugly head (God help this f~~~ed up modernity) was the right hashtag.
